Khloé Kardashian Reveals the Sweet but ‘Messy’ Way She Bonds With Daughter True
With Keeping Up With the Kardashians off the air, Khloé Kardashian now has plenty of free time she can dedicate to her loved ones. Though she still spends quality time with her famous siblings, lately, Kardashian’s days have been filled with activities she does with her 3-year-old daughter True Thompson. In a recent interview, the Good American founder opened up about the hobbies she and her little girl like doing together, which are not only fun — and a little messy — but ultimately bond them as mother and daughter.
True Thompson is Khloé Kardashian’s only child
Unlike her famous sisters who have multiple kids, Khloé Kardashian is a mother to just one child.
In April 2018, the Good American founder gave birth to her daughter True, whom she shares with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Tristan Thompson.
Since then, Kardashian has enjoyed every second of motherhood. Not only has being a mom made the reality star “softer,” but it has allowed her to experience a love she’s never felt before.
“You put somebody else way before your needs, and I think it gives you a different drive in life. [True has] definitely made me softer,” Kardashian said while appearing on The View in July 2020, per Entertainment Tonight, jokingly adding that she has “so much more empathy for my poor mother [Kris Jenner] and what she’s gone through with all of us.”
She continued, “It’s a different kind of love, and until you have a child, it’s really hard to experience. I’ve loved my nieces and nephews like crazy, but there’s nothing like having your own.”
The reality star reveals the fun activities she and True like to do together
Since becoming a mom, Khloé Kardashian has changed as a person. Gone is the reality star who would fill up her days with tasks related to work. Now, Kardashian carves out ample time in her schedule to do fun activities with her little girl.
In a recent interview with E! News, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star revealed the hobbies she and True like doing together, which helps keep their bond intact.
“We’re very active, so we love to go just on walks in the neighborhood. She is very into making, like, potions these days, which is fun but oh so messy,” Kardashian shared. “And I bake a lot, she loves to bake, so we’ll bake cookies and stuff like that. She just likes to pour everything and so I think she just likes the whole mixing and the pouring things in, which is fun for them. But just anything outside, we’re so blessed to be in L.A. and so we’re constantly outside.”
Kardashian says True is already following in her father’s athletic footsteps
Though True Thompson is always around her cousins and is the same age as fellow “triplets” Chicago West and Stormi Webster, Khloé Kardashian says her little girl has started coming into her own in recent years.
Kardashian told E! News that though her daughter is only 3, she’s already showing off her athleticism, which she likely inherited from her father, NBA player Tristan Thompson.
“She’s a gymnastics girl,” the Good American founder said. “I just love and watching her.”
But despite her activeness, Kardashian says True is very cautious, which is one of the ways she differs from her cousins.
“She’s very careful too,” the Revenge Body host explained. “So watching her just be really timid and careful while her cousins have no fear, I’m proud of her for being a careful girl.”
Though she’s only 3, True Thompson is already showing more sides to herself, and we can’t wait to see how much she evolves in upcoming years.
