Khloé Kardashian Reveals She Is ‘Very Militant’ When Parenting Daughter True
Khloé Kardashian became a mom in 2018 when her daughter True was born. Since then, the reality TV star has settled into her role and been sharing some things she is learning along the way. Khloé recently talked about her parenting style compared to the ones her sisters have, and she admitted that she can be “very militant” with True.
The Kardashian-Jenner sisters have different parenting styles
Although they grew up in the same family, the Kardashian-Jenner sisters approach parenting differently as adults.
For example, many fans have speculated that the eldest sister, Kourtney Kardashian, is very relaxed with her three kids. Some onlookers also believe she struggles to discipline them, especially after there are reports of her daughter, Penelope, scratching a nanny at 6 years old. However, Kourtney has hit back at this criticism, saying on Twitter that she does give her kids consequences, though these might not be traditional ones like spanking.
Meanwhile, some fans believe Kim Kardashian is the strictest parent among her siblings. She shared on an episode of The Real in 2019 that she is careful about what they allow their four kids to have. Kim even revealed that, at the time, she removed the TVs from their kids’ rooms and makeup from her eldest daughter’s room.
Khloé Kardashian says she is ‘very militant’ in her parenting style
Khloé recently shared that she can also be “very militant” as a parent. In her “Mom Confessions” video for The Ellen Show, the Good American founder revealed that she loves schedules and makes sure True sticks to them.
“I am really strict,” Khloé said. “I have a schedule. I’m very militant with how I parent True. I believe that a schedule saves everything.”
She also added, “Not all of my siblings are the same. I will not tell you which ones.”
Khloé has talked about her love for scheduling in early November in an interview with Cosmopolitan UK.
“I try and take her to every gymnastics class and I schedule things around her schedule – I live and die by a schedule!” she explained. “Every single day, everything is accounted for and that gives me a sense of peace because there are typically no surprises. My mom has always been regimented, so I definitely get that from her.”
Khloé Kardashian says True has inherited her strong sense of organization
Khloé’s devotion to schedules could be tied to her strong organization skills. She has uploaded many videos on social media showing off her impressively organized fridge, pantry, closet, and even cookie jars.
In fact, Khloé’s daughter may have inherited this trait of her as well. She told “Mom Confessions” that, although she tries to let True be a messy kid, the 3-year-old insists on having her space organized.
“I don’t want that for True, but she already has so much of that,” Khloé admitted. “I feel bad that she has so much of it so young, but every toy has to be put back exactly where she got it from—not from me, that’s what she does. I always just try to mess things up and tell her, ‘It’s OK to live in a mess.’ Although I’m cringing inside, I don’t want her to cringe.”
