Khloé Kardashian Stopped Being Friends With This ‘Love & Hip-Hop’ Star When She Dated French Montana
Khloé Kardashian’s dating roster consists of several high-profile names. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has exes that include NBA stars Lamar Odom, Rashad McCants, and Tristan Thompson.
In 2013, Kardashian started dating rapper French Montana. During their courtship, French Montana reportedly dated a rapper and Love & Hip-Hop star.
How Khloé Kardashian and French Montana met
When Kardashian met French Montana, she was going through a public separation from her ex-husband, Odom. The couple married in 2009, but Kardashian filed for divorce in 2013 after Odom allegedly cheated on her. According to Bustle, Sean “Diddy” Combs introduced Kardashian to French Montana.
Shortly after they met, Kardashian and French Montana grew closer. In July 2014, the pair appeared together on the Angie Martinez Show. On the radio show, French Montana teased that he would film several episodes of KUWTK. He appeared on the series and Kardashian’s spinoff, Kourtney and Khloé Take the Hamptons.
“They called me a couple of times for the new season. They got me,” he shared.
French Montana reportedly dated Trina and Khloé Kardashian at the same time
Although many of Kardashian’s fans were happy to see her find a new beau, the relationship didn’t sit well with a rapper and Love & Hip-Hop star, Trina. According to The Jasmine Brand, Trina was close to Kardashian and her sister, Kim Kardashian West, and dated French Montana. However, French Montana reportedly stopped dating Trina to pursue Kardashian.
In addition to allegedly stealing French Montana from Trina, Kardashian’s love interest after the “Unforgettable” rapper is also Trina’s ex. After her split from French Montana in 2014, Kardashian began dating NBA player James Harden. Trina seemingly shaded their relationship via Twitter by simply writing “sloppy seconds.” Amber Rose, who feuded with Kardashian West over Kanye West, reportedly had thoughts about Kardashian and Harden.
“She seriously believes these women sit around and take notes on who she’s dating, and once she’s done, they swarm like the flies they are and go to town on the leftover carcass,” a source shared with Hollywood Life.
Kim Kardashian West defended Khloé Kardashian on ‘KUWTK’
After their breakup, French Montana and Kardashian remained close friends. The rapper also remained in contact with several of the Revenge Body star’s family members, including Kardashian West. During a 2019 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the SKIMS founder spoke about the rumors. Throughout the years, the Kardashian-Jenner sisters received claims that they steal their boyfriends from other women. Reports accused Kardashian, specifically, of making French Montana leave Trina. She also caught heat for allegedly taking Thompson away from his ex, Jordan Craig.
On KUWTK, Kardashian West called French Montana to set the record straight about him and her sister. She said the family no longer wanted to let the rumors “slide.”
“The world thinks I stole Kanye from Amber. That happened years later. I have receipts I’m gonna show them,” she said. But the thing that they always say about Khloé is that Khloe took Tristan from his baby mama, which wasn’t true. Then they always say Khloé stole French from Trina.”
While on the phone with Kardashian West, French Montana denied dating both Trina and Kardashian at the same time.
“I was never with Trina when I started going out with Khloe,” the rapper said.
