Khloé Kardashian’s 45-Minute Workout to Get a Flat, Toned Tummy
Khloé Kardashian’s body has been a major topic of conversation in the last few weeks. After an unauthorized photo of Kardashian in a bikini was posted to the internet, she made a video to show off her toned body. Even in the unedited photo that was released without permission, it was clear that Kardashian takes care of her body. So, what is Kardashian’s workout regimen?
Khloé’s pool photo
Reportedly, an assistant mistakenly uploaded the photo of Kardashian that was taken at a family gathering. Once the photo was shared, the Kardashian team began working to get it taken down.
“Khloé looks beautiful but it is within the right of the copyright owner to not want an image not intended to be published taken down,” Tracy Romulus, chief marketing officer for KKW Brands, told Page Six.
As more people shared the photo, Kardashian took it upon herself to post a video of her body to Instagram, along with a heartfelt message.
“Hey guys, this is me and my body unretouched and unfiltered,” she wrote in a note following the videos. “The photo that was posted this week was beautiful. But as someone who has struggled with body image her whole life, when someone takes a photo of you that isn’t flattering in bad lighting or doesn’t capture your body the way it is after working to hard to get it to this point – and then shares it to the world – you should have every right to ask for it not to be shared – no matter who you are.
“In truth, the pressure, constant ridicule and judgment my entire life to be perfect and to meet other’s standards of how I should look has been too much to bear,” she continued.
Kardashian went on to discuss how people have always compared her to others and how she edits her photos because she wants to choose how she is presented to the world.
Khloé Kardashian’s workout routine
After posting the lengthy message, Kardashian recorded a video of herself looking trim in the gym. Now, her trainer, Luke Milton, has revealed how Kardashian got those toned abs.
“She works very hard on those high intensity, low interval training principles and it’s something that I always preach,” he told HollywoodLife. “She gets that intensity up and look at her, she looks amazing and she’s super consistent. She’s consistent in keeping her healthy lifestyle on point.”
Milton’s workouts for Kardashian include short intervals.
“I always recommend when we’re going into abs, I work through 60-90 second intervals as far as plank holds go because I feel like they really flatten that tummy out and they build that core strength,” Milton said. “Making sure we’re keeping that consistency and we’re doing at least 10-15 minutes of abs every day is really going to help you build that flat tummy. Khloé can hold for hours if she wanted to. She’s just an athlete. Variety is the spice of everything. Some days I’ll do 60 second plank holds. Some days we’ll do 120. Some days we’ll do 90 seconds. It just depends on what we’re working for at the time.”
When working your abs, it’s important to switch up the exercises, according to Milton.
“It’s all about creating a consistent result but getting a lot of variety,” Milton said. “Some of my go-to ab exercises for people like Khloé and for other celebrities, I love doing core activated programming. I love plank holds. I love working through consistent movements. Cycling abs, going into static holds like v-sits. They’re a couple of my favorite go-tos that I give to all of my celebrity clients.”
Milton also recommends doing yoga, stretch classes, or pilates to allow your body to recover.
