Khloé Kardashian Felt Judged by Kourtney Kardashian When It Came to Breastfeeding True
We’ve watched the KarJenner family literally grow and evolve. When their long-running TV series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians debuted in 2007, each one of the family members was in a very different place then they are now. In nearly 18 seasons of the show, we’ve watched breakups, makeups, arguments, divorces, heartbreak, feuds, and everything in between.
Though all of the KarJenner siblings‘ home lives seemed to be more or less settled these days, there has been some tension amongst Kim, Kourtney, and Khloé. While Khloé and Kim have grown closer, Kourtney has become almost an outsider in their sisterhood.
However, now that Kourtney has decided to take a step back from filming KUWTK — Khloé, in particular, has made an effort to reconnect with her big sister, even when it means discussing some of the harder topics, like motherhood.
This is why there has been tension between the Kardashian sisters
Though the Kardashian sisters have always been close, as Khloé and Kim have been increasingly willing to share intimate details of their lives, Kourtney has strived for more privacy in recent years. Unfortunately, her sisters didn’t understand the boundaries that she initially tried to enforce.
In early August 2018 — Kourtney told E! News she’s “definitely proud to be a Kardashian but every day, almost, I was being picked on and criticized and I just couldn’t take it anymore.”
Ultimately, we’re going to be seeing a lot less of Kourtney when Season 18 of KUWTK debuts.
Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian got real about the trials of motherhood
Despite their recent spats, Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian still love and adore each other. In fact, motherhood is something major they both have in common. Kourtney has three children, Mason, Penelope, and Regin. Meanwhile, Khloé has an almost-two-year-old daughter, True.
The sisters had a recent heart-to-heart on POOSH’s YouTube channel about motherhood and the struggles of breastfeeding. Khloé did not produce enough milk for True, and she eventually had to put her on formula.
“I felt like I failed. I felt so bad about myself,” she said of no longer breastfeeding True.”But if you can’t [breastfeed], you don’t have to feel like a failure,” she said. “You don’t have to feel like I’m bad at this mom thing. I’m great at this mom thing. Breastfeeding, I wasn’t great at.”
Kourtney also got candid about her breastfeeding experiences. “I remember the first month being the hardest… there is pain involved,” she recalled. “The latching, once I figured that out, then it was pretty easy, easier for me.”
Khloé Kardashian felt Kourtney Kardashian judged her breastfeeding struggles
Khloé got candid about geeing judged by Kourtney when breastfeeding was going poorly for her. “For me, I remember I used to get almost frustrated with you, not that you even did anything, but you would just talk about this experience you had and how beautiful and, ‘I breastfed for 18 months,’ ‘What do you mean, you’re not producing milk?'” Khloé said of Kourtney. “You’d just say things, not at all trying to criticize me, but I would take it like, ‘It’s not that easy.’ As soon as I would pump, she would wake up and I’d have to breastfeed her again and my breasts were, like, bleeding. It was horrible. You would always try to help me and give me tips and I was like, ‘It’s just not working!’ I’d feel like I’d want to strangle you because your experience seemed so easy and it wasn’t for me.”
