Kim Kardashian’s first trip down the aisle was in 2000, when she was only 19 years old. She married music producer Damon Thomas, who was 10 years her senior. Kim later claimed he became abusive and controlling, and the couple separated by 2003.
In 2011, the Skims founder took another stab at marriage with basketball star Kris Humphries. She’s since said she realized the marriage was a mistake on their honeymoon. Only 72 days after their lavish televised wedding, the couple split up.
Soon, Kardashian began dating West, and the couple had their first child, North, in 2013. They got hitched the following year. The couple had four children before last year’s breakup.
But Kardashian hasn’t stayed single long. In October 2021, she hosted Saturday Night Live, where she shared a kiss with cast member Pete Davidson during a skit. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star felt a spark between them, so she decided to text him. They’ve been inseparable ever since.
Kim Kardashian’s engagement rings have been enormous
Having been married three times means Kim Kardashian has worn a few engagement rings. According to Us Weekly, not much is known about Kardashian’s engagement ring from Thomas, although it is likely the most model of the lot.
When Humphries proposed, he put a $2 million ring on her finger. It featured a 16.2 emerald-cut center diamond flanked by two 1.8-carat rocks. The following year, he sold the ring at auction for a mere $620,000.
West proposed to Kardashian with a Lorraine Schwartz-designed 15-carat cushion-cut diamond set in a pavé band. He later upgraded her ring to a 20-carat diamond. The effect was eye-catching and sparkly, in contrast to Humphries’ more classic ring.
Unfortunately, thieves stole the rock during an infamous robbery in Paris. The traumatic event resulted in the loss of Kardashian’s engagement ring and $10 million worth of other jewelry.

Of course, Ye didn’t just pop over to the local jewelry store to grab a ring before asking Kim Kardashian to marry him. In typical West style, everything about the engagement was over-the-top.
He took her to AT&T Park in San Francisco, which he had reserved for the occasion. A 50-piece orchestra played “Young and Beautiful” as the Jumbotron read, “PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!” Her friends and family waited in the dugout to celebrate with the couple after she said yes.
West’s plan to find the perfect engagement ring was equally elaborate. He took no chances in finding the right one.
“I worked with four different jewelers,” he explained. “Three rings were made. Only one actually hit the finger with Lorraine [Schwartz]. She came through.”
If Kim Kardashian’s relationship with Pete Davidson continues to move forward, she might be headed to the altar once again. But the former SNL cast member has a steep challenge if he wants to outdo her last engagement ring.
