Kim Kardashian’s Favorite Sister Revealed: She’s ‘Really Close Right Now’ With Khloe for This 1 Reason
The Kardashians and Jenners are often asked about their favorite sister and they’re generally pretty diplomatic with their answers. Kim Kardashian was asked just that question during a sit-down with Lisa Wilkinson on The Sunday Project and actually named the sister she’s “really close” with at the moment: Khloe.
Kim and Khloe are tight right now
When Kardashian graced the cover of the September 2019 issue of Vogue Arabia, her husband, Kanye West, dared to ask who her favorite sister is.
Kardashian admitted: “It changes, just like friends or relationships go in and out.”
Kardashian added at the time: “I think this year has been a really strong Kim and Khloé year. I’m obviously so close with Kendall and Kylie too but I’ve spent so much more time on this earth with Kourtney and Khloe — 16 and 17 years longer with them. We have more history, have been through so much together, and we have more friends in common.”
She continued: “Kourtney and I will always be really close, but this year, Khloe and I really bonded.”
Kardashian explained why she and Khloe are so close
Kardashian was asked about her favorite sister again during a November interview with Lisa Wilkinson on The Sunday Project and she explained why she’s so close with Khloe.
She shared: “I would say Khloe and I are really close in the last few years ever since she’s had her baby. I don’t know if it’s a favorite. I love each sister for a different reason but as far as closeness, me and Khloe are just really close right now.”
Kim and Kourtney have been fighting
Any fan of Keeping Up With the Kardashians has likely noticed that there’s been a fair amount of tension between Kim and Kourtney this season. Their fight over the joint candy themed birthday party for their daughters North West and Penelope Disick was pretty heated, as the sisters didn’t appear to see eye to ey.
Kourtney had some ideas for the Candy Land-themed party, throwing out an idea to have healthy options available. Not surprisingly, Kim wasn’t into the idea, saying, “It’s Candy Land, Kourtney! It’s not gonna be healthy.”
Kim shared in a confessional: “Kourtney has this vision of no sugar or no disgusting chemicals in candy. It’s like a completely sugar-free, gluten-free, party-free, fun-free zone because Kourtney has decided that. It just doesn’t make sense and it really wasn’t the theme of what North and Penelope wanted for their birthday.”
The fight escalated between the sisters, as Kourtney argued: “There’s just better solutions to things instead of your dated candy that’s literally food coloring that gives people diseases.”
During her confessional, Kourtney shared her side of things, explaining: “I can’t believe that Kim isn’t willing to compromise at all and that she doesn’t feel guilty about giving not only her kids and my kids but all these kids that are coming to our party so much junk and candy. It’s such a dated vibe to be like that.”
