West’s absence in the U.S. is allegedly making it difficult for Kardashian to plan her holiday season. Here’s what a source said about Kardashian “hitting” her “breaking point.”

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West share four children: North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5. The famous couple filed for divorce in 2022 and finalized their split in 2022. Since they officially went their separate ways, West infamously (and privately) married Yeezy architectural designer Bianca Censori. Kardashian reportedly feels like she’s been busily raising her four kids by herself as West focuses on his upcoming album and spends ample time in Tokyo.
A source told In Touch Weekly in late November 2024 that Kardashian is “hitting her breaking point” when trying to plan the holidays around West’s schedule. She knows her kids want to see West as 2024 comes to a close, but pinning him down is proving difficult.
“Kim has been trying her best to make it all work, but she’s hitting her breaking point,” the source alleged. “She knows her kids want to see their dad over the holidays, but she can’t even pin him down for what days he will be around.”
The source added that West is “unpredictable,” and a “simple solution” would involve Kardashian inviting West to her family’s holiday festivities. However, West and Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner, don’t get along, and “the rest of the family can’t stand him.”
“It’s a total mess,” the source continued, “and she’s on tenterhooks waiting for what Ye’s going to do, which is just so unfair, but it’s not as though she can just shut him out and forget about him, she’d never do that to her kids.”
Kanye West seemingly remained in Japan for Thanksgiving in 2024
Kim Kardashian didn’t create a Thanksgiving social media post in 2024, so it’s unclear exactly what her plans were for the holiday. As for Kanye West, he appeared to remain in Japan with Bianca Censori for the holiday. The couple was snapped by photographers on Nov. 30, 2024. The photo shared by TMZ shows West flashing his teeth with a smile while taking the escalator in a mall with Censori. They both dressed in white.
A source told DailyMail.com that people in Japan remain “very respectful” of West, which he appreciates as he creates his album, “Bully.”
“When he’s in Japan, people see him, but they’re very quiet,” the source said. “They’re very respectful. Very seldom will they even come up and ask for a picture. So he can move around Japan with no security.”
With West in Japan for Thanksgiving, it’s unlikely he saw his four kids.

With Kanye West spending ample time in Japan, fans wonder when he will move to Tokyo full-time. A source told In Touch Weekly in October 2024 that a move for West means a tough custody battle over his and Kim Kardashian’s kids.
“Rumors have been swirling for a while that Kanye intends to relocate to Tokyo and renegotiate his custody terms with Kim because he’ll want the kids to travel there frequently once he’s settled,” the source alleged.
However, Kardashian allegedly intends to “lawyer up and likely fight him” if West moves out of the U.S.
“It obviously poses all sorts of complications and challenges from a logistical point of view, and Kim’s very worried about what the future holds if he goes ahead,” the insider continued. “She’ll lawyer up and likely fight him every step if necessary, but it’s obviously the last thing she wants or needs to be dealing with.”
