Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had a notable public relationship for years. The media mogul and the rapper tied the knot in May 2014 and finalized their divorce in March 2022. West married Bianca Censori shortly after the divorce finalization. He’s now sharing his life story in a Netflix documentary. And Kardashian is allegedly nervous that he’s going to include private phone arguments between them.

Kanye West is ready to share more about his life with the public. His documentary, In Whose Name?, which contains footage from the past six years, is slated for a 2025 release. The film “promises to offer a unique and cinematic perspective on Ye’s public transformation,” according to Variety. A source told In Touch Weekly that Kim Kardashian is worried about the content that West is willing to include in the film.
“Kanye’s relationship with Kim and her family is not good, and while she tries to keep the peace with him, they’ve had arguments over the phone that could end up being used in the doc,” the insider alleged. “And he doesn’t care about being popular, or liked, or politically correct.”
In the past, an insider told Us Weekly that Kardashian knows West’s personality well. This often means that he doesn’t filter what he says or mince words, which could scare her with the upcoming documentary.
“She’s known her whole marriage/life with Kanye that he’s an open book, and there’s nothing she could ever do to stop him from saying whatever he wants,” the source alleged.

In a 2023 episode of The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian about how her relationship with Kanye West drastically changed. The episode was filmed shortly after Kardashian and West finalized their divorce.
“This is me holding onto the Kanye that I know,” she explained while sorting through his musical equipment she kept, according to People. “But when you know it can never get back there — that’s what sucks, and that’s what’s hard.”
“It sucks when someone doesn’t see how different they are,” Kardashian continued in a confessional. “I always will [keep looking for that person]. You’ll always hope you’ll see a glimpse of them, and I hope I do. It’s really confusing for me; it’s so different from the person that I married. That’s who I loved, and that’s who I remember. I’ll do anything to get that person back.”
She also noted that she didn’t talk to her ex-husband about the antisemitic content he posted online because she feared his response. “He’ll probably go off on me,” she added.

While Kanye West tours Tokyo with Bianca Censori and continues his creative endeavors, Kim Kardashian feels alone in parenting their four kids. In November 2024, she spoke on the What In the Winkler? podcast about how she’s “basically raising four kids” by herself.
“Sometimes, in the middle of the night, when they’re all sleeping in your bed, kicking you and crying and waking up — it’s not something that I talk about a lot because I feel like there is always a lot of judgment,” Kardashian stated. “Or people always will jump to the, ‘Oh, but you have the resources to have nannies and to have help.’ And I just think that no matter what kind of help I have, I’m basically raising four kids by myself.”
