Kim Kardashian Is Apparently Deleting Negative Comments About the Leaked Taylor Swift Call
Kim Kardashian West is no stranger to criticism. She and her family are constantly in the news for one scandal or another. Between cultural appropriation, stealing ideas from others, and promoting unsafe goods and services, the KarJenners receive tons of backlash despite their large fanbase. But, while Kardashian West usually just lets scandals blow over, this time she seems to be actively trying to combat one. This weekend, the unedited phone call between her husband, Kanye West, and Taylor Swift leaked, and the KKW Beauty owner is receiving tons of backlash.
“Wait it’s legit National Snake Day?!?!? They have holidays for everybody, I mean everything these days,” Kardashian West tweeted back in 2016 with copious snake emojis. This tweet was referring to the edited phone call she released between West and Swift. In the version Kardashian West released, it made it seem as if West had received Swift’s full permission for his song “Famous”. This resulted in Swift receiving copious amounts of hate. People declared that she was “canceled” and referred to her as a snake and a liar for months on end.

But, it seems that the tables have turned. After the unedited version of the phone call surfaced, people began to turn on the 39-year-old reality TV star and her husband. Twitter declared that #KanyeWestIsOver and #TaylorToldTheTruth. Furthermore, as 2020 is the Year of The Rat according to Chinese Zodiac, critics and fans are referring to Kardashian West and her husband as rats. People have begun to flood her Instagram with rat emojis and negative comments on her most recent photos.

“Kim and Kanye can’t answer the phone right now. Why? Oh, ‘cause they are #CANCELLED,” one person declared, referencing Swift’s song “Look What You Made Me Do.” “‘I’m gonna post my kid’s photo so they will have pity on me and they won’t attack me that much’ You ain’t fooling anyone here Kim,” another person chimed in about Kardashian West posting a picture with her four-year-old, Saint West. “It’s international Rats day omg 😍happy holidays to you and your husband 😍” one person chimed in.
IG users accuse Kardashian West of deleting comments
The comments were originally few and far in between. And while some people just assumed it was because the feud between Kardashian West, West, and Swift is old news, others declared it was because the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was deleting comments. “Stop deleting the comments. It’s the least you can do for all the damage you’ve done,” one Instagram user wrote. “Deleting my comments!!” another person chimed in.
Will this feud ever really die?
“Stop deleting comments Kim…no one likes you! I knew this day would come… The FAME DOESN’T LAST FOREVER (;” yet another person chimed in. “The thousands of deleted comments wow,” yet another person declared. But, it seems like Kardashian hasn’t been able to keep up with deleting comments or she has given up completely. As her recent posts are receiving more and more negative comments, it looks like people aren’t quick to forgive and forget the things she said about Swift. We doubt that Kardashian West has any intention on apologizing, so who knows how much longer this feud will last. Hopefully, not another four years.
