Today the world knows them as the power couple worth more than $500 million who are parents to four kids: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West both went to a store opening
Then known as a socialite, Kim attended the grand opening of the luxury retailer, Intermix, in Los Angeles, Calif., on Sept. 25, 2007. Also on the guest list had been Kim’s brother, Rob Kardashian, and of course, Kanye. Kim arrived with her pal, Brittny Gastineau, and snapped a photo with Kanye inside.
This happened before the founder of KKW Beauty rose to fame as a reality TV star on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which didn’t premiere until Oct. 14, 2007.
They attended the same holiday party
More than a decade before they came to blows on KUWTK, Kim and her sister, Kourtney Kardashian, attended an anniversary party for Flaunt magazine on Dec. 18, 2008.
The party which doubled as a holiday toy drive brought out a slew of celebrities including Kanye who posed for a photo alongside Kim and Kourtney.
Kanye West invited his future wife to sit front row at his fashion show
In his early days as a fashion designer, Kanye had a fashion show for his Y-3 Fall 2009 collection. He invited a number of celebrities including his friend, Kim, who attended the event on Feb. 15, 2009, alongside her then-boyfriend, NFL player Reggie Bush.
After a brief split that same year, Kim rekindled her romance with Bush before the two called it quits for good in 2010. Two years later, she and Kanye began a romantic relationship. Today, Bush is married and fans say his wife has a strong resemblance to Kim.
Kim Kardashian West knew Kanye West was the one in 2012
During her 2019 interview with Vogue for their video series, “73 Questions With,” Kim revealed when she knew Kanye was “the one.” She said she knew he was the right guy for her in March 2012 when she attended Paris Fashion Week to watch Kanye’s fashion show. In Nov. 2019, the mother of four who is studying to become a lawyer opened up about why she and Kanye are still together. She told The Cut a constant with her and Kanye has been fun. “The one consistent thing is our relationship has never stopped being fun,” she said.
