Rumors have been swirling for months that Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West are well on their way to divorce court. The controversial couple seems to be dealing with some serious issues recently, but divorce proceedings have not begun. Rumors of a divorce swirled in 2016
West and Kardashian West’s relationship has been under scrutiny ever since they announced that they were a couple. Talks of an impending divorce didn’t flood the media until 2016, about two years after they married in front of a star-studded guest list.
In late 2016, it was reported that things had gotten tense in the couple’s home. By November 2016, West was hospitalized for exhaustion. While Kardashian West was by his side during his hospital stay, he left the West Coast shortly after, further spurring rumors that the couple was on the outs. Nothing ever came of the stories, obviously. They’ve been seen together countless times since those reports and have welcomed two more children in the last four years. Chicago West was born in 2018, and Psalm West was born the following year. They joined North West and Saint West.
Kanye West’s 2018 outburst led to divorce rumors again
In late 2018, West, once again, made the news for a series of nonsensical tweets and statements. First, he made controversial comments about slavery; then, he took to Twitter to throw shade at Drake. Kardashian West jumped to his defense, but alleged insiders claimed she was pondering a divorce.
A reported insider spoke with Radar Online about West’s behavior and claimed that Kardashian West was feeling stuck about what to do. The source told the publication, “Kanye continues to throw Kim and her family into the fire and she is constantly getting threats and harassment. It is just past the point of getting old and Kim is so fed up with all of this.” Once again, nothing came of the reports.
Kanye West posted about divorcing Kim on Twitter
West’s mental health has been called into question several times during the Coronavirus shutdown. Talks about how he was doing hit a fever pitch in July when he went on a Twitter rant aimed at his wife and mother-in-law. He posted a series of now-deleted tweets that suggested he and Kardashian West were headed for divorce.
According to Fox News, West’s Tweets suggested he had been trying to divorce Kardashian West for months. He went on to throw shade at Kris Jenner, claiming she isn’t allowed around his children. Since then, both Kardashian West and West have attempted to appear happy together, but fans aren’t buying it. Perhaps, this time, a divorce is forthcoming.
