For years, Larsa Pippen has been known as one of Kim Kardashian West‘s closest confidentes. The two practically did everything together and made it seem like they were going to be friends until the end of time.
However, it appears that the two socialites are no longer close pals as they recently unfollowed each other on Instagram. Since this could be the end of their friendship, let’s take a look back at Kardashian West and Pippen’s relationship throughout the years.
The early days of their friendship
While it’s unclear when exactly Kardashian West and Pippen became BFFs, the two first showcased their budding friendship in the early 2010s during an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Kardashians stans might recall the infamous scene when Kris Jenner, Blac Chyna, Kim K, and Pippen took a private pole dancing workshop together. Though Kardashian West was embarrassed the whole time, Pippen made the most out of the experience.
After that, fans started seeing Pippen hanging around Kardashian and her family more and more.
From attending A-list events with the socialites to posing alongside Kardashian West in Instagram photos, it quickly became apparent that Pippen was a staple in the reality star’s squad and one of the only people considered a close friend of the famous family.

Like her relationship with Jonathan Cheban, Kardashian West has never shied away from opportunities to showcase her friendship with Pippen.
Over the years, the socialites would often share photos of themselves posing in itty-bitty dresses, glam shots, and beach shoots on social media.
They’ve even gushed over the friendship in the past with Kardashian West frequently referring to Pippen as her “best friend” and “the most positive person [she] knows.”
Kardashian West has even looked to the former Real Housewives of Miami star for parenting advice, which resulted in them and their kids becoming super close.
In addition to being friends with the KKW Beauty mogul, Pippen’s also BFFs with Kourtney Kardashian, who she built a strong bond with around the time they both ended their respective long-term relationships.
The Poosh founder’s even suggested that Pippen had been more of a positive influence in her life than her own sisters during one of many arguments between the trio.
But despite Pippen maintaining solid relationships with Kourtney and Kim, she’s also showed her support for Khloé during the Tristan Thompson/Jordyn Woods cheating scandal in February 2019.
The entire Kardashian family just unfollowed Larsa Pippen
Since Pippen has been a close friend of the Kardashians for years, you can imagine everyone’s surprise when it was revealed that the entire family unfollowed her on Instagram.
The news of their unfollowing comes just two days after Kanye West tweeted Larsa’s name with a thinking face emoji but no further context. The tweet has since been deleted.
It also comes a few weeks after the Kardashians failed to wish Pippen a “Happy Birthday” on July 6, which they typically do.
Though it has yet to be revealed why the Kardashians unfollowed Pippen, it appears that their falling out isn’t one-sided as Larsa has practically deleted all traces of the reality stars from her Instagram feed.
Where do Kim Kardashian West and Larsa Pippen currently stand?
While it seems to fans that Pippen and Kardashian West are currently engulfed in a feud, the mom of four recently addressed the controversy in a message posted to her Instagram Story.
“I woke up this morning blessed and see that everybody is focused on who I am following and who I am not following on social media,” Pippen wrote. “I am focused on my children, my new fitness brand Larsapippenfitness, and my relationship in real life.”
She concluded, “Praying that everybody finds peace in their own lives and focus on what brings them happiness.”
Though it’s unclear what caused the issues between Pippen and the Kardashians, it seems that something drastic must have taken place for them to no longer follow each other on social media.
