Kim Kardashian West Gives Update on Status of Upcoming Hulu Show
Kim Kardashian West has shared some information about the Kardashian Hulu show. The series is part of a multi-year deal she and her family reached with the streamer, under which they’ll create exclusive content for Hulu. It’s still in the early stages, according to Kardashian West, but she expects filming to begin soon.
What is the Kardashians’ new show?
Shortly after the news that Keeping Up With the Kardashians had been canceled, multiple outlets reported the family had inked a deal with Hulu to do new shows.
“The Kardashian Jenners will create new global content under a multi-year deal, to stream exclusively on Hulu in the U.S. and in multiple territories on Star internationally,” read a message shared to Hulu’s Twitter page.
“This is the next chapter,” Kris Jenner said during a May Disney event (via Us Weekly). “In the new show, you’ll see us evolving as a family, fans want us to be who we are and since moment one, they’ve been emotionally invested in our show just like we are. The fans will love seeing us continue the journey. I can’t say much about what’s coming but spoiler, we’re going to look fabulous and everyone’s going to watch.”
While she didn’t get into specifics, Ryan Seacrest told People the show would probably find the family trying out ideas “they may have not had a chance to do with ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians.’” He didn’t share examples but said he “definitely” thinks it’ll pique people’s interest.

Appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in September, Kardashian West was asked for an update on the show. “We are gonna start filming probably in the fall, and we’re going to have a quicker turnaround, so we hope to air in the fall as well,” Kardashian West replied.
When asked what fans could expect from the show, the reality star said she and her family actually haven’t figured that out yet. They live such busy and eventful lives that it’s hard to figure out which aspects to share, she explained.
“It’s like so much happens in our lives all the time that we really can’t predict it. But I think we’ve made a commitment as a family to be as open and honest as possible, so we’re hoping to share, like lots of your dancing and scaring videos, so it’ll be like that,” she continued, referring to things Ellen has done on her talk show.
Who will appear on the Kardashian Hulu show?
Like before, fans can expect to see all of their favorite Kardashian-Jenners on the show. The Skims founder said she also believes it’ll include some of those around them, possibly including Travis Barker, who’s dating her sister Kourtney Kardashian. “I’m assuming because he’s such a big part of Kourtney’s life that he will be on,” she told Ellen. But she admitted she’s not totally sure if he’ll appear on the series.
