Kim Kardashian West Is ‘Not Okay’ After Saint West Sustained an Injury
Kim Kardashian West’s four children are almost as famous as she is. The beauty and shapewear mogul has allowed her children to be on camera for her reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians. She also frequently posts adorable photos and videos of her and Kanye West’s children on social media.
Yesterday, Kardashian West posted a few photos on her Instagram revealing that Saint West, her older son, had sustained an injury. Here’s everything we know so far about what happened.
Kim Kardashian West has said that Saint West was her favorite child
Kardashian West hasn’t been shy about revealing which of her four children is her favorite. Although she said “it changes,” she has mentioned that Saint West is her preferred child on more than one occasion.
On an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the reality star conveyed her excitement over the arrival of her fourth child via surrogate. “I’m very happy. I feel like the energy is going to be very balanced out,” Kardashian West said. “Saint happens to be one of my favorite human beings.”
Kanye West, appearing in the confessional with his wife, quickly responded that he didn’t think parents should express favoritism. “I don’t think it’s good when like parents feel like, this is my favorite child!” he said.
Kardashian West, who was raised by a mother who openly talked about her favorite children, replied, “I think it changes. I mean, it’s reality. I was my mom’s favorite for a good decade, and now it’s Kylie Jenner.”
Kardashian West also said that Saint was her favorite child in an Instagram post dedicated to him for his birthday one year. “Happy Birthday to my favorite boy my Sainty Joon,” she wrote on Dec. 5, 2018. “I must have done something really special to deserve having you as my son. I love you to the galaxy and back.”
The reality star revealed her son’s injury on Instagram
In an Instagram story Kardashian West posted yesterday, the reality star revealed that Saint, who is 5 years old, has sustained an injury.
“Who do you think cried more today? 😢 My baby broke his arm in a few places today. I’m not ok.” The accompanying photo shows Saint in a wheelchair with a heavily bandaged arm.
She followed that Instagram story up with another photo of a close-up of Saint’s arm in a cast and captioned it, “Poor Baby 🥺”
It’s understandable that Kardashian West would be so upset over Saint’s injury, especially considering he might still be her favorite child.
Kim Kardashian West did not explain the cause of Saint’s injury
Although she showed Saint’s injury on social media, the beauty entrepreneur did not reveal how her second-born broke his arm.
Earlier in the day, just three hours before posting the photo of Saint in a wheelchair, Kardashian West posted another photo wishing Saint’s best friend a happy birthday.
“Happy Birthday Koehen!! Thank you for being Sain’t’s bestriend We love you 🤍” Kardashian West wrote beneath a photo of Saint and another child who looks to be the same age smiling together.
It’s unclear when the photo was taken, but perhaps Saint accidentally broke his arm while playing with the other child. Maybe he was even at a birthday party for his best friend when the injury occurred.
