Kim Kardashian West is one of the most famous names in the world today. She receives a lot of hate and criticism from people who think she doesn’t have any particular talents, but if anything can be said about Kardashian West, it’s that she’s a hard worker. Love her or hate her, it’s hard to deny that Kardashian West works harder than almost anyone else in the industry; on top of her work schedule, she also has four kids to raise at home – not to mention the hours she must spend in the gym to get her body looking the way it does!
Fans have been awe-struck at Kardashian West’s insanely busy schedule and supernatural work ethic, and some wonder where she gets her seemingly unlimited motivation.
Kardashian West has an impressive work ethic
You might look at Kardashian West’s life and think that she must have a Time-Turner hidden away somewhere. She has so much on her plate that it seems impossible that one person could do it all in 24 hours. First and foremost, of course, she is a mother to four young children. She’s also a celebrity who stars on her own reality show with her family, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. That would be more than enough for most people, but Kardashian West doesn’t stop there.
She also is the business owner of a few successful businesses, including KKW Beauty and her shapewear line, SKIMS. She engages in community work, which is detailed in her other show, The Justice Project. In it, she helps inmates advocate for a smaller sentence. And if all of that weren’t enough, she’s also working to become a lawyer, which in itself is enough to drive most crazy with exhaustion. Where does she find the motivation?
Fame is what motivates Kardashian West, according to fans
The answer, some fans say, is simple: Kardashian West is motivated by fame. In a recent Reddit discussion, fans pondered what could possibly be so important to Kardashian West to motivate her to live such an insanely busy lifestyle.
“Fame. She loves it and is willing to put in whatever work it takes to maintain it,” one fan commented, with others sharing their agreement. According to that commenter, Kardashian West has apparently even come right out and said that fame is what’s motivating her, so it’s not just haters trying to paint her as a fame-hungry diva. “Kim is very [v]ain, [so] she finds/makes time,” another fan commented. Maybe it’s as simple as that: Kardashian West is so vain and loves being in the spotlight so much that she’ll do literally anything to maintain it. Could it be that superficial?
Kardashian West is “addicted to success”
However, what about training to become a lawyer? Committing to a 4-year apprenticeship on top of everything else doesn’t seem to benefit Kardashian West in terms of garnering more fame. “I think she has always been extremely ambitious. She is addicted to success and is strategic,” another fan expressed, analyzing another reason why Kardashian West might work so hard: she just loves being successful. It does seem clear that it is more complicated than just chasing after fame.
One fan even brought in a popular personality theory to explain Kardashian West’s hardworking tendencies: “Do you know anything about the Enneagram? I 100000% believe Kim is a 3, aka “the Achiever.” They thrive off of others knowing/seeing them do well, they’re very into appearance, and they’re very driven and channel their energy into their goals (it’s what also fuels them is achieving those goals). So I think for her, the success of them refeeds [sic] into her energy and keeps her going,” they explained.
Whether she gets her motivation from her desire for fame or her theoretical Enneagram type, we hope she’s taking care of herself so she doesn’t burn out!
