He’s been asked several times since then if he was serious about the plan, and he always insists he is. When asked about when he would run, he usually said he would do it in 2024, but his timeline seems to have changed.
Part of the reason for the change could be because he’s decided that he no longer supports Donald Trump, so he sees no reason not to oppose him in the election. It’s a big political ambition for someone who says he’s never even voted. How does his wife feel about it?

Kardashian has been publicly supportive of her husband’s ambitions. She responded to his announcement by retweeting it, adding an American flag emoji for an extra dose of patriotism.
Behind the scenes, however, sources say she’s worried, according to E. It’s widely known that West has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and that he refuses medication. Kardashian has spoken in the past about how difficult it is when he’s having a bipolar episode. According to sources close to the family, she’s focusing on supporting West, and she’s “very concerned.”
It seems unlikely that West’s campaign will go very far. The election is only four months away, and he isn’t on the ballot in any of the states. That isn’t stopping Kardashian fans from imagining her as First Lady. They’re pretty sure it would give her some significant advantages. At least with her mom.

It seems that the most favored child happens to be the most successful. Khloé was asked in 2019 who her mom’s favorite was, and her response was revealing. “Kimberly 10 years ago. Kylie now.”
A recent Reddit conversation brought up the idea of how Jenner would react to her daughter being First Lady. Given Jenner’s legendary ambition, fans think that if Kim made it into the White House, it would bump her back into first place again.
“Kim would be kris’s fav child again,” one person said. Another agreed, suggesting that might be Kardashian’s motivation for supporting West. “That’s probably why she’s down for him running this year lmao.”
