Some actors avoid watching their own work because it can be embarrassing. Jacob Elordi, who plays Noah Flynn, claimed that he hasn’t watching Kissing Booth 2. Joey King, who plays Elle Evans, had something to say about that then deleted it.

The actors started dating after they worked together on the first movie. King explained to Bello Magazine how their relationship began in 2018.

“Well, I thought he was very cute when we first met, but it started as a friendship,” she said. “But before long I started to realize, ‘Hey, I think I kind of like this person!’ It was such an interesting experience meeting your boyfriend on set because you spend so much time together and become so close so fast. We were spending 17 hours a day together, and all of us would hang out after work and watch movies together and stuff. It was great.”

They broke up later that year. The co-stars still had to work together to play the couple for the sequel. There are now rumors that King is dating Taylor Zakhar Perez, who played Marco Peña in the new movie.

Elordi said he hasn’t watched the sequel

The actor did an interview with Variety to talk about the second movie. He claimed that he hasn’t watched it.

“I haven’t seen it,” he said. “You’ve seen more than I have. I don’t know if I’m allowed to say that, but I haven’t.” He asked the interviewer if they enjoyed the movie.

They said, “Yeah, it was cute.” Elordi then said, “Be honest.” The interviewer then said, “I thought it was better than the first one.” Elordi responded with “That’s so kind of you.”

That might mean the actor doesn’t have a very high opinion about the movie. It looks like King had something to say about it.

She tweeted that he is ‘capping’

One person who isn’t buying Elordi’s claim about not watching the movie is King. “Jacob watched it. He’s capping,” she tweeted.

The actor then later deleted the tweet, according to Entertainment Tonight. Her more recent tweets are funny ones. “To all my unread text messages: I’m sorry,” she tweeted.

“One of the funnier people on the planet is @andreasavage and I miss her very much,” King also tweeted. The first reply under that is from a fan who posted a screenshot of her deleted tweet about Elordi asking, “Why did you delete it.”

It’s hard to tell if King meant the tweet to be taken as a joke or seriously. But it looks like the co-star thinks it’s up for debate on whether Elordi has actually seen the sequel.
