‘Kissing Booth’: Joey King on Ex, Jacob Elordi, Says ‘Elle Evans Needs Her Noah Flynn’
The love lives of the stars of Kissing Booth is just as interesting as the characters they play. Joey King, who plays Elle Evans, used to date her co-star, Jacob Elordi, who plays Noah Flynn.
They still worked together after they broke up. King talked about needing Elordi to finish her character’s story in the Netflix movie.

King and Elordi started a real relationship while working together on the first movie. She opened up about how their relationship started with Bello Magazine.
“Well, I thought he was very cute when we first met, but it started as a friendship,” King said. “But before long I started to realize, ‘Hey, I think I kind of like this person!’ It was such an interesting experience meeting your boyfriend on set because you spend so much time together and become so close so fast. We were spending 17 hours a day together, and all of us would hang out after work and watch movies together and stuff. It was great.”
That was in 2018 and the couple broke up months later. Elordi has since been seen spending time with Eurphoria star, Zendaya. There is now a rumor that King is dating Taylor Zakhar Perez.

Perez played Marco Peña in the sequel. He kind of drives a wedge between Noah and Elle since Noah is away at college. There is a rumor Perez and King has started dating. That’s because they reportedly went on vacation together.
Perez explained to Entertainment Tonight why they’ve been spending so much time together. “When we got back to Los Angeles we just kept hanging out. We live really near each other,” he said.
“And then the quarantine hit and we kinda just needed someone to trust during that time, like, ‘OK, I know you’re not going out. I know who you’re seeing.’ So we just became really close,” he continued.
King talked about working with Elordi
Fans can only imagine what it was like for King and Elordi to work together after breaking up. King talked to Cosmopolitan and knew the question was coming.
“There’s so much I want to say,” she said. “What’s the most, um, correct way to go about this? Elle Evans needs her Noah Flynn, and whatever that means for my personal life, I’ll do anything to make sure the story of my character who I care about so much is complete.”
The good news is that they’re probably done with working together. The third movie was already filmed and it’s set to be released in 2021. A teaser clip was already released.
