Kourtney Kardashian Sparks Puppy Controversy (Again) With Some Fans
Kourtney Kardashian just ended her summer in the best way possible by cruising around in a boat with family and an adorable new puppy!
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star introduced the latest member of her family on her Instagram. Though many were delighted to see the precious pup grace their feeds, others aren’t too thrilled that the reality star chose to get yet another furry friend.

There is a new member of the Kardashian-Disick clan and her name is Ruby.
On Sept. 6, Kardashian took to Instagram to share an adorable photo of her new puppy, who joined her and ex Scott Disick on a boat trip with their three children.
In the photo, the reality star is was seen cuddling the toy poodle while sitting aboard a speed boat. She captioned the post, “Say hi to Ruby.”
After sharing the photo to her feed, fans quickly took to the comments to gush over the newest member of Kardashian’s family.
“Hi, Ruby! She’s the sweetest!” one person wrote. “Ruby looks so cute!” another follower commented. “Such a cute dog!” someone else penned while another added, “Hey cutie Ruby!”
Some criticized Kourtney Kardashian for getting a new pup
Though the comments instantly filled with positive reactions to the new puppy, not everyone was excited about the latest addition to Kardashian’s family.
Since sharing the photo, some have criticized the reality star for buying a new pup rather than adopting a dog.
“You practice limiting single-use plastic and eco-friendly lifestyle but you didn’t rescue a dog?” one person commented.
There also seemed to be some concern about the whereabouts of Honey and Cubs (Kourt’s other two dogs), with some speculating that the mom of three only keeps her furry friends temporarily.
“Did you discard the others?? adopt don’t shop,” another user penned.
“What happened the golden retriever you had?” one person asked while another added, “Do you still have the Christmas pup?”
This isn’t the first time the reality star’s been slammed for getting a dog
Though the queen of clap back has yet to respond to the criticism surrounding her new puppy, she has set the record straight about her family’s pets’ whereabouts in the past.
Back in December, the Poosh founder shut down Instagram critics who thought she had gotten rid of her Pomeranian, Honey, after introducing her Labrador puppy Cubs on Instagram.
After a fan asked, “But do they still have her Pomeranian? Or do they just get rid of dogs for new ones,” Kardashian replied with, “Of course we still have Honey, our baby Pom Pom.”
She later put another user in their place after they wrote that the new puppy would surely be “temporary since you never keep your dogs.”
“Wow so much negativity. We still have Honey, but thanks for your assumptions,” Kardashian commented. “I’ll assume Santa wasn’t good to you, hence your vibes.”
Though Kardashian continues to remain tight-lipped while some Instagram users criticize her for getting new pup Ruby, we wouldn’t put it past her to eventually clap back at those naysayers just like she has before.
