Kourtney Kardashian’s son Reign Disick just got a dramatic new haircut. Kardashian showed off the new look on Instagram — a shaved head, which is a huge departure from his long flowing locks that she’s been mom shamed about in the past.
Fans slammed Kourtney Kardashian in the past for Reign’s long hair
Kardashian has been no stranger to criticism because her son had long hair. The Poosh founder posted a video on Instagram in December, with Reign in action on the monkey bars. His waist-length hair caught the attention of many fans and she addressed it very briefly with a clear message: she doesn’t care what you think.
“‘You feel me smooooove.’ Meet Tarzan. Anyone with hair comments is absolutely jealous of these divine locks,” she noted at the time.
Naturally, people still had something to say about her son’s hair, with one fan commenting, “I love your family so beyond much but dear god please cut Reign’s hair.”
Another commenter asked, “The question about the hair really is only if HE wants long hair, or if YOU are forcing it on him. Have you asked him?”
Kardashian responded to mom shamers in the past
While Kardashian made it clear that she wasn’t going to address any negative comments on the post, she has responded to her critics before.
In October, she posted photos of Reign on Instagram and some mom-shamers weren’t impressed with his hair. She had the perfect response, however.
One person commented at the time, “she really need to cut his hair” and Kardashian clapped back, “She really need to not worry about kids that aren’t her own. He is a happy boy.”
Reign got a major hair cut
On August 4, Kardashian posted a photo of an unrecognizable Reign on Instagram, who posed with a newly shaved head and one hand giving it a feel. “I am not OK,” she captioned the pic.
Her friends dropped some comments on the post about the shocking new look, with pal Simon Huck noting, “I’m shook, but also LIVING for the new look.” Kardashian replied, “I love it.”
When another pal commented, “Tell me you saved his hair,” Kardashian responded, “it will be with me forever.”
Fans love the new look
Fans seem to be unanimously smitten with Reign’s new look, with the comments on Kardashian’s post lighting up with comments about how handsome her son is.
