Kris Jenner’s Daily Life is Mostly a Mystery These Days, and “KUWTK’ Fans Want Answers
Fans of Keeping Up with the Kardashians have been watching the Kardashian-Jenner family for over 13 years now. Over the years fans have watched the sisters grow up to start families and businesses of their own and all the drama and ups and downs that came along the way.
With the show now on hiatus until September, some fans are getting a little restless without a steady stream of information about their lives. Kris Jenner, the momager and prankster of the group, has been especially quiet on social media and in the news. Fans want to know, what has she been up to during the pandemic?
Though KUWTK may have stopped for now, fan chatter never does
In a Reddit group for the reality show’s biggest fans, group members always find a way to talk about the Kardashians. In a recent Reddit thread entitled, “What do you find most curious about the Kardashians/wish you had more tea about?” fan theories for each member of the family poured out in excess.
Curiosity about Jenner and her boyfriend Corey Gamble’s relationship was a repeated topic, with many wondering if it’s a “real” relationship or if there is a financial incentive for him. Some wondered if Jenner really did leak Kim Kardashian’s sex tapes, a rumor that has been around for a long time now.
One fan had this to say about Jenner: “Want to know more about Kris’s day to day life, I wonder how busy she is! It’s shown more in earlier seasons but I want to know how much she does with the sisters ventures now.”
One fan on Twitter took notice to her absence tweeting: “*raises eyebrow* Where is Kris Jenner?”
Other Twitter users have been shouting out to Jenner in regard to Kanye West’s bid for the presidency, joking about her turning it into a reality show, or becoming the one to run the country while Kanye and Kim concern themselves with other matters.
What do we know about Kris Jenner’s life now?
Jenner’s social media accounts have always focused on her daughters’ business ventures, but it seems lately, that’s about all she has been posting. Kim Kardashian West’s KKW Beauty, Khloé Kardashian’s Good American, Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s collaboration for Kylie Cosmetics, and Kanye West’s Yeezy all got recent shout-outs on Jenner’s Instagram and Twitter, but very little was shared about her personal life.
Jenner has also been keeping on top of her birthday shout-outs, and it’s through these that we have seen any photos of the momager at all.
Just last week, she got dolled up for Khloé Kardashian’s 36th birthday in a green fringe dress. Her hashtag, #haventwornadressinmonths, may not be trending, but it is certainly one many of us can relate to as the pandemic stretches on from weeks into months.
What’s next for the Kardashians?
The trailer for the show’s new episodes, which will resume in September, has all the trappings of a trailer for a zombie film. The thumbnail features a shot of an empty LA highway sandwiched between photos of Khloé Kardashian and Kris Jenner in masks.
One clip features Kylie Jenner saying, “It’s just scary when someone so close to home has tested positive,” over ominous music. Another shows Kris Jenner standing far from Khloé Kardashian, in tears over how much she misses her and wants to hug her.
Despite the pandemic putting a wrench in many of the family’s plans and limiting their in-person interactions, it looks like fans can still expect the usual drama they’ve come to expect from the show, and perhaps some answers to their looming questions: Will Tristan and Khloé get back together? Is Kris going to rehab? Did Kourtney really exit the show or is she sticking around?
