According to TMZ, the arrest took place around 5 pm after Cutler rear-ended another vehicle. The publication spoke with law enforcement officials who are familiar with the case.
According to the publication’s source, Cutler refused a field sobriety test after responding officers smelled alcohol on his breath and noted he was slurring his speech. He later submitted to a blood test at an area hospital. A search of his vehicle turned up two guns, including a loaded handgun and a rifle.
Cutler was booked into Williamson County Jail but didn’t spend much time behind bars. He reportedly posted his bail and was released just five hours later. It’s unclear how he got home, but he is set to face a judge in January. The incident resulted in four different charges, the most serious of which are DUI and possession of a handgun while under the influence.
