Kristin Davis Announces a ‘Sex and the City’ Themed Podcast Ahead of ‘And Just Like That…’ Season 3 Release
Kristin Davis has spent years in Hollywood and appeared in various projects, but for many fans, she’ll always be Charlotte York. Davis took on the iconic Sex and the City role in 1997 and has never looked back. Now, the famed actor will be exploring the cultural phenomenon of Sex and the City in a new podcast. The podcast, Are You a Charlotte, will premiere before season 3 of And Just Like That… on Max.

Kristin Davis will be hosting a brand new podcast. IHeartMedia made the announcement on Dec. 23 with a promo featuring Davis. In the promo, Davis asks fans, “Are you a Charlotte?” before explaining exactly what they can expect from the project. According to Davis, the podcast will look at what happened behind the scenes of Sex and the City and delve into the sometimes controversial themes the show explored. Davis, who promises special guests, will launch her podcast, Are You a Charlotte?, on Jan. 13.
According to People, Davis has been approached about podcasts in the past. She’s always turned down those opportunities. She couldn’t turn down the offer again. Davis insists now is the perfect time to delve back into the series. We agree. The addition of Sex and the City to Netflix and the Max reboot has resurrected the show. It has reached a brand new audience and continues to gain new viewers. As it turns out, the series might not have aged well in some respects, but it certainly has people talking, just like it did in 1998 when it premiered.
When will season 3 of ‘And Just Like That…’ premiere
While Davis proudly announced her podcast’s release, she’s staying quiet about the details of And Just Like That… season 3’s release. Several months ago, Max revealed that the series wouldn’t reach viewers until 2025. The streaming service provider did not offer a specific release date or even a general time frame.
Since then, fans have dutifully kept up with the cast on social media. Filming for season 3 wrapped before the holiday season, but an update on a potential release date has still not come. Max likely won’t even release a trailer until just weeks before the season is set to premiere. Season 2 premiered on June 22, 2023. A trailer for the season didn’t hit the internet until June 1. We will anxiously await more news, but for now, Kristin Davis’ new project is the Sex and the City fix we were looking for.
