Who is Kurt Russell’s Ex-Wife, Season Hubley?
Kurt Russell is a prolific actor whose relationship with Goldie Hawn has been one of the strongest and longest-lasting partnerships in Hollywood. But prior to them getting together, Russell was married to actor Season Hubley.
Hubley enjoyed a public career in Hollywood for two decades, but she retreated to private life years ago and hasn’t spoken out since. Just who exactly is Kurt Russell’s ex-wife, and why did she fade from the spotlight?
Kurt Russell only married once
Russell has been with Hawn since 1983, but their relationship has only been officiated by their love: they’ve never gotten married. Russell’s only marriage was to Hubley in 1979, and their divorce came just four years later.
Russell met Hubley while filming Elvis in 1979, where she played the Priscilla Presley to his Elvis. It wasn’t long after that that Hubley gave birth to their son, Boston. While Russell has two children, Hubley’s only child to this day is her son with Russell.
Season Hubley was an actor for years
Hubley debuted as an actor in 1972 in the TV movie Bobby Jo and the Good Time Band, where she starred as the lead character. That same year, she had a guest appearance on the popular show The Partridge Family. Hubley appeared in mix of supporting and lead roles through the 1970s.
She appeared in several television roles throughout the 1970s on shows such as Family, Starsky & Hutch, and Kojak and in movies such as Catch My Soul and Hardcore.
To this day, Hubley is best known for her role as Priscilla Presley opposite Russell; her other major film role is in the 1982 movie Vice Squad.
From 1991 to 1994, she portrayed Angelique Marick on the daytime soap opera All My Children. She also appeared in the movies Stepfather III and Child in the Night in 1990.
Season Hubley retired from acting two decades ago
In 1992, Hubley married cameraman David Hayball, best known to the world for his work on the film Kill Me Again and on the TV series The Shield. But the couple was only married for two years before their divorce was announced.
Since her episode of Flipper aired in 1999, Hubley has faded from the spotlight and began living a totally private life. According to Biography Tribune, she’s reportedly enjoying single life in New York City and purposely doesn’t want to engage with the media.
Hubley is also impossible to track down today because of her lack of social media presence. It’s likely she enjoyed her time as a celebrity and retired to enjoy her life without widespread attention.
