Keeping Up With the Kardashians aired its final episode earlier this summer. When the show wrapped, it left behind 20 seasons of dramatic and comedic moments amongst the Kardashian-Jenner family. Additionally, the show made Kim Kardashian West and her entire family famous.
Throughout its 20-season run, many Keeping Up fans have dissected and analyzed the reality show tribe. Amid its ending, some supporters think that two of the sisters are extremely selfish.

Keeping Up With the Kardashians introduced the public to the Kar-Jenners for the first time. At the show’s beginning, TV watchers gravitated toward the family’s rivalries, trips, and relationships. However, they’ve also seen each of the Kardashian sisters venture into new passions outside of KUWTK.
Although all of the family is worth millions today, not every KUWTK fan likes everyone on the show. While cast members Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner received praise for their lackadaisical approach to fame, others felt their “down-to-earth attitude made them appear “self-absorbed.”
“Kendall’s look and cool girl vibe I love, she’s drop-dead gorge, but she’s so annoying and self-absorbed, so she’s at the bottom with Kourtney for me,” one fan shared on Reddit.
“Kendall and Kourtney are the most self-absorbed imo,” another said. “They get mad when things don’t go their way and cry when being called out for it. Also, just look at the difference in manners of their children. Kourt’s kids are so rude, and she’s supposed to have ‘ThE mOm JoB.’ I can only imagine what Kendall’s kids will be like.”
In the thread, some fans said Jenner isn’t “self-absorbed” and is simply shy and reserved.

When KUWTK first aired, the show focused on Kardashian West’s life and career. As the show continued, her siblings developed fan bases through their separate passions. In the 2010s, Jenner started working as a professional model. Soon, the daughter of Kris and Caitlyn Jenner graced several runways and inked endorsement deals with designers such as Marc Jacobs. However, she infamously kept her personal life, including her romantic partners, away from KUWTK.
Like Jenner, Kardashian began separating herself from the show. In March 2019, she launched her women’s lifestyle website, Poosh. Additionally, Kardashian shared how frustrated she became with the show. During several episodes of Keeping Up, Kardashian’s sisters begged the mother of four to open up about her life more on the show.
Before KUWTK went off the air, Kardashian decided to take a small step away from the show. According to her interview with Jason Kennedy’s In The Room, she believed that exiting the series would bring the balance she desired in her everyday life.
“I feel like I’ve finally gotten to the place where I can balance being a mom and working,” Kardashian said. “I’ve always done both, obviously, but it used to be where I would work a lot more. And so I’ve really shifted my focus.”

In addition to their critiques of Kardashian and Jenner, some fans think three Kar-Jenners receive unnecessary and harsh criticism. According to a few Reddit commenters, Kardashian West, Khloé Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner often get worse reactions to their decisions than their sisters. The fans also think their alleged plastic surgeries make them seem more superficial and self-centered.
“Kim is so so vain, I have never been a fan of that heavily made-up hyper-sexualized look of hers, but oddly enough, I don’t hate her,” one fan said. “I feel like she’s actually genuinely kind.”
