‘KUWTK’ Fans Call Hypocrisy After Khloé Kardashian Dismisses Kourtney’s Ex As ‘Negative’
Kourtney Kardashian’s love life remains a topic of discussion on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. During a chill beachside dinner featured in the March 25 episode, sisters Khloé Kardashian and Kim Kardashian West grilled her about certain men in her life, including an ex Khloé called “negative.” While it seems like an innocent comment, some viewers feel it’s a little hypocritical of Khloé given her own dating record.

The dinner was meant to help take Kardashian West’s mind off of some of the stressors in her life, including law school and her marriage to Kanye West, whom she’s now divorcing.
“It’s our job to distract Kim and take away all of her worries for the night, so if that means me going after Kourtney’s sex life a little bit she’s going to have to take one for the team,” Khloé said in a confessional. “Kim lives for the gossip and we’re here to make Kim happy.”
At the table, Khloé asked whether Kardashian had been dating or communicating with any guys. “Do you still talk to what’s-his-name?” she said, seemingly referring to model Younes Bendjima, whom Kardashian dated off and on between 2016 and 2018. When Kardashian said no, Khloé suggested she always thought he was “negative.” Her sister agreed before noting, “I’m really feeling content with my own way of life.”

Granted, there were several times in their relationship when Bendjima had people side-eyeing him — from an alleged cheating scandal to the infamous shade he threw at Kardashian over a sexy Instagram photo. But some viewers felt Khloé wasn’t one to talk when the same could be said about Tristan Thompson, who doesn’t have the best track record either.
“Khloe telling Kourtney that her guy was negative is a bit hypocritical no?? Khloe you’ve got the worst guy of all,” one person said under a YouTube clip of the dinner.
A second critic echoed that, saying, “Khloe really should not be the one asking anyone questions about their love life and choices.”
“I really adore [Khloé], but shes always in others business,” commented another. “She has enough of her own trying to keep up with Tristan.”
A fourth person chimed in to say, “They always take a dig at Kourtney but both their relationships are messed up 🤦♀️ Good on your Kourtney for saying you are content with your life.”
But not everyone criticized her over the comment about Kourtney Kardashian’s ex
At the same time, there were a lot of people who defended Khloé.
“So just because one guy is worse means the other guy can’t be bad too? She can’t look out for her sister or as about her problems? You guys really go all in on Khloe at the littlest thing like her having a conversation with her sister,” one fan said.
Another added, “I’ve always loved Khloe, like she can be hypocritical from time to time but who tf are we to judge ya’ll are probably the same. It’s always annoyed me when she gets stuck in the middle of her sister’s arguments since they ask for her opinion and help but once she says the truth she gets b*tched at, like make up your mind.”
Showbiz Cheat Sheet reached out to representatives for Khloé for comment on the backlash but did not hear back by the time of publication. But like those defenders said, we’re sure she was just trying to look out for her sister and keep her best interests at heart.
