‘KUWTK’: Khloé Kardashian’s Least Favorite Scenes to Film
If Khloé Kardashian had it her way, certain Keeping Up With the Kardashians episodes would have never seen the light of day.
Though many private storylines have been covered on the show over the past decade, there have been a few scenes Kardashian believes were way too personal to film. And if she called the shots, it’s likely these moments would have never made it to the small-screen.
Khloé Kardashian was originally against doing ‘KUWTK’
After starring on KUWTK for more than a decade, it’s hard for us to imagine the show without the witty and oh-so-pleasant Khloé Kardashian.
Since 2007, Koko has never failed to make us laugh with her clever remarks, hilarious pranks, and outrageous antics. While we could always count her to deliver some comic relief and lighten up anyone’s mood, it turns out that the series almost went on without Kardashian as she wasn’t originally on board to do a reality show.
During a 2016 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the Good American founder revealed that she and sister Kourtney Kardashian were against doing KUWTK when the idea was pitched to them.
“Kourtney and I didn’t want to do the show,” she said. “We weren’t anti the show, but we were so obsessed with our clothing store, and I couldn’t imagine having to give that up.”
However, after being pushed to do the show by her family and E! agreeing to let her continue working at DASH — the sisters’ clothing and accessories store — Kardashian became a cast member on KUWTK. And as they say, the rest is history.
Khloé Kardashian believes several personal storylines shouldn’t have been covered on the show
Since KUWTK premiered on E! back in 2007, Kardashian has been an integral part of the series. Not only have we seen the reality star go through many different life experiences over the years, we’ve also watched her grow into the person she is today.
From marriages and short-lived flings to the birth of her daughter True, camera crews have caught many of Kardashian’s more personal moments over the past decade.
But despite the show capturing some pretty unforgettable moments and experiences Kardashian and her family have had, there are a few storylines she would have preferred to keep private.
In a 2017 essay for Glamour magazine, the mom of one revealed that she regrets letting a camera crew keep up so closely with her famous family.
Though being transparent with viewers is part of their job, Kardashian believes that there are just some things that should have never been filmed.
“Things like Kim’s robbery or Caitlyn’s transition? That’s the kind of stuff we wish we had never filmed,” Kardashian wrote. “We aren’t ever like, ‘Oooh! Let’s do this for season nine.’ This is our life, and these are the things that happen.”

Khloé Kardashian shared her least favorite ‘KUWTK’ moments
In addition to revealing the scenes she wishes her family had never filmed, Kardashian also dished about her least favorite KUWTK moments, which includes the time she went to jail for 3 hours.
“That’s one of those times you wish you didn’t have cameras on you. It was more embarrassing than anything else…I could have hurt or killed someone,” she admitted. “But, you know, that happened. And I dealt with it. And it will never happen again.”
While there are probably plenty more KUWTK scenes Kardashian wishes never saw the light of day, we’re sure her favorite moments from the show outweigh the latter.
