‘KUWTK’: Khloé Kardashian Said She Feels Overwhelmed by the Negative Fan Reaction to Her Relationship with Tristan Thompson
Khloé Kardashian has found the “noise” of negative comments about her relationship with Tristan Thompson overwhelming, she reveals in a new Keeping Up With the Kardashians clip. After Scott Disick mentioned Thompson in a comment on one of Kardashian’s Instagram posts, she said there was a lot of drama.
Scott Disick’s comment about Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s relationship caused drama
Disick may not have intended to stir up drama when he commented on one of Kardashian’s Instagram photos, but that’s exactly what happened.
In the clip for the upcoming KUWTK episode, Kardashian explains to him what happened when he commented on her bikini pic that Tristan is a “lucky man.”
“Scott, I got a whole lot of action this weekend and Friday from your little comment you made on the ‘gram,” she tells him in the clip. “The amount of action I received?”
In a confessional, Kardashian explains what happened. “I posted a photo on my Instagram to promote Good American and Scott left a comment that Tristan is a lucky man.”
That tiny comment definitely made waves. “Then I’m getting bombarded with text messages and my publicist saying, ‘Oh my gosh, all these media outlets want answers,'” she says.
“Honestly, me and Tristan are figuring things out but I’m still trying to navigate my way through my feelings and that’s how I want to keep it,” Kardashian adds.
Khloé Kardashian feels the pressure of what other people think
In an effort to quiet the noise and all of the “unnecessary drama,” Kardashian deleted Disick’s comment, though he didn’t feel like she needed to.
“I don’t even think it’s that, I think it’s how the public treats me,” she explains. “Then I had to remove my tagged photos. Everyone is putting clown stuff all over me.”
Kim Kardashian drops some tough love on her sister’s reaction to the drama. “I’m so over you bowing down to what the public thinks,” she tells her.
Disick is in agreement, saying, “Yeah! Like, f*ck them!”
He continues, “Finally this guy is being a f*cking really good guy. On the flip side, yes Tristan f*cked up. But what about him? There’s gonna come a point where he doesn’t want to feel like you’re embarrassed of him still. That’s still gotta be kind of hard.”
Kardashian still admits the struggle is real. “For me, it’s like, I don’t want my peers, people that I love and respect, to look at me and be like ‘Oh, this b*tch,'” she explains.
“But that’s why, when all this outside noise is not around me, we are great,” she says. “Tristan and I operate fine, we have fun together, it’s enjoyable, it’s easy.”
Kardashian should be used to the noise, Disick says. “The truth is, no matter what you do, people are always gonna talk sh*t,” he says.
Kardashian says she’s ‘really affected’ by people’s opinions lately
Kardashian notes in her confession that it’s not always easy for her to just ignore the haters. “I’ve always been incredibly vulnerable and so open with the show, with my life. Every avenue — I’ve never thought twice about it.”
“Recently, I would say, I’m really affected by what people have to say about my relationship,” she continues. “Like I’m not even able to make up my own mind because I’m so flooded with everyone else’s opinions or criticisms.”
“I don’t even know what’s happening, so why do I have to be pressured to give people answers that I don’t have for myself?,” she adds.
