After 14 years and 20 seasons, Keeping Up With the Kardashians will air its final episode in 2021. The show premiered on the E! Network in 2007 and launched Kourtney Kardashian and her family’s careers. However, Kardashian has expressed her frustration filming over the last few years. Now that the show is ending, though, Kardashian recently shared that she might not be fully ready to say goodbye.

Throughout the years, viewers have watched Kardashian, and her sisters, Kim, Khloé, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner share their milestones. Fans also watched Kardashian’s tumultuous relationship with her ex, Scott Disick. The couple were together for almost 10 years and had three children- Mason, Penelope, and Reign.
Despite the show elevating Kardashian’s business ventures, she revealed to Vogue Arabia in June 2020 that she left KUWTK. She told the outlet that she wanted to focus on being a mother to her children. Kardashian also said she planned on continuing her lifestyle website, Poosh.
“I have been filming the show non-stop for 14 years,” Kardashian said of her decision. “I was feeling unfulfilled, and it became a toxic environment for me to continue to have it occupy as much of my life as it was. Privacy is something I have come to value, and finding that balance of private moments with being on a reality show is hard. People have this misconception that I don’t want to work, which isn’t true. I am following my happiness and putting my energy into that which makes me happy.”

In addition to Kardashian’s claims about lacking privacy because she films KUWTK, she shared on the show that it caused a divide between her and her sisters. During the season premiere of KUWTK, which took place in March 2020, Kardashian and Kim got into a heated argument. Kim said Kardashian’s unwillingness to share her life with the public was hurting the show. Their fight soon turned violent, and social media users buzzed about it online.
Although she is seemingly ready to move on after KUWTK, she shared the one thing she will miss about shooting the show on Instagram. The photo showed Kardashian wearing a gold dress with a deep cut at the center of her chest. Kardashian styled her hair in an updo for the photoshoot. She also rocked a sparkling gold piece on her eye. The second Instagram slide was a promotional photo of Kardashian for KUWTK.
“I’m gonna miss our @kuwtk photo shoots,” Kardashian captioned underneath the Instagram slideshow.

Shortly after Kardashian made her Instagram post about missing one element of KUWTK, her fans were stunned by her statement. Many fans wondered why Kardashian would miss the show due to how upset she’s been by it. Other fans decided to assure Kardashian that they wish her well after KUWTK ends.
“Are you, though? Lol,” one Instagram user asked following Kardashian’s caption.
“But you didn’t wanna be in the show anymore, sis,” another user reminded Kardashian.
“May happiness be with you always, Kourtney,” a third fan said.
“Kourt’s style is iconic,” a fourth fan chimed in.
