‘KUWTK’: Who Stole Money From Kourtney Kardashian?
There’s never a dull moment on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. That’s the beauty of it. In the next episode airing Sunday, Oct. 13 at 9 p.m. EST, Kourtney Kardashian has a bit of a situation.
Kourtney Kardashian’s assistant reports missing money
In an exclusive clip from the new KUWTK episode via E! News, Kourtney’s assistant, Megan, noticed money missing from her wallet.
“Kourt? So, we discovered that there was cash missing from your wallet,” she said in the clip. “So, I don’t know if you spent it out the other night?” Kourtney, who admitted to spending just $20 for valet, remembered tossing hundred dollar bills back into her purse.
“There’s no hundreds there right now,” Megan said. Sister, Khloé Kardashian, also watched on as the incident unfolded.
“Is there any chance you could’ve lost the money?” Khloé asked. “Do you think it fell, or?”
Kourtney insisted she knew where she’d put the money, and it should’ve been in her bag. A sense of unease filled the room.
“It was definitely there,” Kourtney added. “You know when you just know? Like, I know for a fact.”
She reflected on the fact that other things have gone missing from her home before. An iPad, for instance, was one of the latest items to suddenly disappear.
Kourtney later said in the confessional, “The fact that money is missing from my wallet definitely doesn’t feel like a coincidence.”
Who is suspected of stealing from Kourtney Kardashian?
Kourtney admitted on camera that there are numerous people around at all times. “You know, I have people in and out of my house all day. People that I trust; something just isn’t right.”
As for a list of suspects, the Kardashians and Jenners have a Rolodex full of staffed employees, especially as they film KUWTK. From hairstylists and makeup artists to stylists and assistants, it could’ve been any number of people to sneak money from Kourtney’s bag.
The troubling part is that anyone who had access to the money would likely be someone in Kourtney’s inner circle. She could’ve dropped the money along the way, but her gut’s telling her she didn’t and that the money should be where she left it.
If she were to retrace her steps, it’s worth wondering whether she’d remember someone close to her near her purse in the timeframe the money went missing, or if it really was lost accidentally. More may be revealed in the episode.
The Kardashians have been robbed before
It’s no wonder Kourtney’s feeling uneasy about the missing money. It’s not the first time her family’s been the subject of a robbery. Sister, Kim Kardashian West, was robbed at gunpoint and tied up during Paris Fashion Week in October 2016.
In the E! True Hollywood Story, Kim said she feared being harmed during that robbery.
“Right as I was about to fall asleep, I heard guys running up the stairs,” she explained in a clip released to YouTube ahead of the show. “They wanted my ring and my jewelry, so I didn’t fight back. I just gave them everything. And they tied me up. They wrapped duct tape over my eyes and my mouth.”
Kim continued: “There’s those moments in life that really change you and shake you to your core. My robbery was definitely that moment for me,” she revealed.
Us Weekly previously reported 17 arrests were made in connection to the robbery. A few confessed with four charged. She has since hired new security to protect her, and her belongings.
Along the same lines, Kourtney’s younger sister, Kylie Jenner, had a reported stalker after she’d repeatedly posted her locations on social media while her other younger sister, Kendall Jenner, also had a stalker who was detained and deported back to Canada after a string of terrifying incidents.
While neither of these situations involves robbery like Kardashian West’s experience, it’s no wonder Kourtney is on edge. With that many people around at all times, we hope the mystery is solved soon (and that her money is retrieved).
