Kyle Richards did not look pleased to attend the premiere of The Holiday Exchange on September 26, 2024. The 55-year-old attended the LGBTQ romance’s opening night in Burbank, California, with two of her daughters. But the spark was missing from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s eyes.

One day earlier, on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, Kyle experienced a dispute with her older sister, Kim Richards. The altercation allegedly involved Kim’s sobriety, indicating that the 60-year-old may have relapsed after giving up alcohol years ago. According to People, the LAPD reported to an Encino, California, home owned by Kyle. Kim was staying at the house prior to the incident.

Earlier this month, Kim Richards was residing at a Hilton hotel. After some “incoherent” behavior, she was placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold, a legal process that allows for the involuntary hospitalization of an adult for up to 72 hours. Kyle provided her Encino home after the hold, but we suspect living arrangements could change after this altercation. The incident happened two years after Kyle herself chose a lifestyle of sobriety. Famously documented on RHOBH, Kyle forwent alcohol indefinitely, prioritizing her health as her 27-year marriage to Mauricio Umansky fell apart.

Now, Kyle is showing her face post-altercation. The mother of four attended Garry Marshall Theatre last night with Alexia Umansky, 28, and Sophia Umansky, 24. She and estranged husband Mauricio share both daughters and Portia Umansky, 16. Kyle also has an oldest daughter, Farrah Aldjufrie, whom she shares with ex-husband and businessman Guraish Aldjufrie.

Kyle, Alexia, and Sophia wore holiday-inspired outfits to the premiere of The Holiday Exchange. Although Kyle looked stunning in red velvet tuxedo pants and a white satin blazer, she did not smile for pictures. Looking rather unbothered but sad, the veteran Bravo star stood with Alexia and Sophia, who wore black and silver outfits to celebrate the premiere.
