Kylie Jenner Allegedly ‘Infuriated’ Models at Fashion Week Who Felt She Didn’t ‘Deserve to Be There’
The Kardashian-Jenner family has taken the world by storm. While fans know the famous family for their reality TV show and successful businesses, the Kardashians love fashion. Kendall Jenner is currently the highest-paid model in the world, and her sister, Kylie Jenner, took to the catwalk for the Coperni Spring/Summer 2025 fashion show. Unfortunately, other models allegedly grew upset that Kylie had the opportunity to close out the show.

Kylie Jenner has become a jack of all trades thanks to the help of her famous family name. The Kardashian-Jenner family member is known for appearing on The Kardashians. And she also founded her ultra-successful makeup company, Kylie Cosmetics, and her fashion brand, Khy. She closed the Coperni Spring/Summer 2025 fashion show at Disneyland Paris, marking her first Paris Fashion Week appearance.
While Kylie likely enjoyed the experience, other models allegedly hated that she participated. A source told Life & Style that “venom was flying” amongst the other models at Fashion Week.
“Kylie feels like she killed it, and in fairness, she got great reviews, but the venom was flying backstage,” the source alleged. “The general feeling among the other models was that she didn’t deserve to be there, that it was just an attention grab by the brand because of her name and following.”
The insider added that models in the industry are “notoriously catty” and “vicious” toward influencers and reality TV stars, as they don’t believe they earned their status. Additionally, Kylie getting to close out the fashion show “added to the bitterness, since that’s such a prestigious spot that gets the most attention.”
“There’s already a lot of anger that her sister Kendall was pushed as this big model, so to have Kylie now trying to horn her way into the industry is infuriating for a lot of these girls who’ve been working at it since they were 14 years old,” the source continued.
Kendall Jenner once said that her modeling success ‘bothered’ her sister
Kylie and Kendall Jenner have the looks, money, and status to stay successful in their fields. While Kylie knows how to create a winning business, Kendall is better known for her runway features. Kendall once admitted to Cosmopolitan that Kylie once felt “bothered” by the attention Kendall received in the modeling world.
“She’s a Leo, so she loves attention, and at certain points when we were younger, it bothered her that I was getting attention in terms of my modeling,” Kendall said.
Kendall later told Vogue that she never viewed her “career as a competition” with Kylie.
“Even with my little sister — the biggest thing we would fight over was the TV remote,” Kendall said in 2024. “There was never that who’s-better-dressed, who’s-prettier thing. It was always: You’re you, I’m me. I’ve never thought of my career as a competition, and that’s thanks to awesome sisters.”

While some models might not love Kylie Jenner’s presence on the runway, the reality TV queen isn’t scared to show off her success. She posted a clip to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024, of scanning over every magazine cover she and the rest of her family members have graced. “Iconic,” Kylie captioned the clip.
In the next clip, she scanned over a GQ magazine photo of her in lingerie. “Baby Ky,” she captioned.
She then showed a clip of her pop art photos from Paper Magazine along with an interview. “Still a fav,” she wrote.
While Kylie might not be as well-versed in high fashion as her model sister, Kendall, she knows how to remind fans that she’s had plenty of experience in front of the camera.
