Kylie Jenner and Drake Spark New Dating Rumors After Being Spotted Together at an L.A. Club
It looks like Kylie Jenner and Drake are continuing to remain close after their short-lived fling.
The pair previously raised eyebrows for spending ample amounts of time together following the reality star’s split from Travis Scott.
Though it seems like the pair were moving towards a romance, it was soon revealed that they weren’t interested in going down that path.
However, after recently being spotted partying it up together at an L.A. club, fans aren’t too sure if Jenner and Drake are still just friends.
The duo first sparked romance rumors in October 2019
Jenner and Drake’s relationship has proven to be pretty complicated — especially for us.
Though the pair have been friends for years, they recently sparked romance rumors and continue to keep fans guessing when it comes to their relationship.
The duo first started spinning the rumor mill in October 2019, a few days after Jenner called it quits from her boyfriend of two years, Scott.
Although she had just ended her relationship, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star didn’t waste any time getting back out there and enjoying the single life once again.
One way she did that was by partying it up with some of her close friends, including the “Hotline Bling” rapper.
On Oct. 24, 2019, the makeup mogul was spotted attending Drake’s mobster themed 33rd birthday bash.
According to bystanders, the duo looked to be getting pretty flirty and remained close throughout the night.
“She spent the most time near Drake and his friends,” an Us Weekly source shared. “Kylie was rapping to songs and dancing with her friends while she was next to Drake, but they weren’t dancing together, they seemed to have a connection though.”
A week later, Drake hosted a star-studded Halloween party, which Jenner attended along with her BFF Stassie Karanikolaou and her brother Rob Kardashian.
Jenner and Drake never wanted a serious relationship
Though it appeared to fans that the makeup mogul and the rapper’s friendship was blossoming into a romance, sources soon revealed that the pair were keeping things casual between them.
“Drake has always had a thing for Kylie and it’s mutual,” a source explained to Us Weekly. “They hang out here and there and have been more recently than in the past because Kylie is technically single right now and the two of them live so close to each other.”
Despite having feelings for each other, Jenner reportedly didn’t want a serious relationship, especially with someone she’ considered to be a “notorious womanizer.”
“She’s smarter than that,” an insider previously told Page Six.
As for Drake, he soon realized that he didn’t want to be tied down and decided that it’ll be best if he and Jenner just remain friends.
“Drake has definitely moved past any type of romantic feelings towards Kylie and it’s purely platonic between them at this point,” a source told Hollywood Life in December 2019.
The insider added that though there was some flirting going on between the pair, all of it was just “in good fun, and there was nothing really serious that came out of it.”
They were recently spotted at the same nightclub
While many of us thought Jenner and Drake were done fueling dating rumors, the pair once again has us questioning where their relationship currently stands.
On Mar. 5, the duo were spotted together at Delilah nightclub in West Hollywood.
Though they didn’t arrive together — Jenner hit up the club with Karanikolaou and her former assistant Victoria Villarroel while Drake came later on — the two celebrities likely crossed paths while inside the club.
Even though the pair weren’t photographed together that night, it’s clear that they maintained their close contact well into 2020.
As for whether or not they’re still keeping their relationship strictly platonic, that remains unclear.
