Though it was previously revealed that things were strictly platonic between the former couple, their recent outing in Miami has fans wondering if the two rekindled their romance. So, are Jenner and Scott actually back together this time? Here’s what a source recently said about their relationship.

Jenner and Scott began dating in 2017 after they were spotting getting cozy at Coachella. Not long after that, Jenner became pregnant and gave birth to their daughter, Stormi Webster, on Feb. 1, 2018.
The couple maintained a solid relationship until October 2019, when it was announced that they had broken up.
At the time, insiders reported that the pair were experiencing problems in their relationship and had decided to spend some time apart.
“Kylie and Travis aren’t officially calling it quits on their relationship, but are taking space apart,” a source told E! News. “It’s not a firm split. They’ve been fighting again, but have still seen each other within this last month.”
The insider continued, “They fight over ridiculous things and Kylie can be very skeptical about Travis. Travis has been stressed with dropping new music.”
Meanwhile, a separate source shared that the pair weren’t seeing eye to eye when it came to the idea of having more kids, which reportedly played a part in their breakup.
“Kylie is young, but she really wants the traditional family life,” an insider told Entertainment Tonight at the time. “She has seen her older sisters with big families and multiple kids and she wants the same. She loved being at home with Travis and their daughter, Stormi Webster, more than anything. But right now, their priorities are different.”

Then in April 2020, Jenner sparked engagement rumors when she posted a video on her Instagram story showing off a Cartier solitaire LOVE engagement ring. In the background of the video, Kid Cudi’s song, “The Scotts” played.
To fans, it seemed as though Jenner and Scott had rekindled their relationship.
However, a source later told People that the pair weren’t back together as they were more comfortable being friends than romantic partners.
“Kylie and Travis get along. They enjoy hanging out with the same people,” a source explained. “And they obviously spend a lot of time together with Stormi. Being co-parents seems to be working out better for them than being in a romantic relationship.”

Over the weekend of Apr. 30, Jenner documented a trip she took to Miami with Scott in honor of his 29th birthday.
In a series of posts shared to her Instagram Stories, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star showed herself enjoying the “Butterfly Effect” rapper’s birthday celebration held at the local nightclub LIV.
Not only did Jenner share a video of her and her friends partying it up inside the nightclub as Scott performed, but she also posted a recording of the rapper playfully grabbing her after she rubs her foot on him as music played.
As expected, the former flames’ night out fueled reconciliation rumors — and it seems fans’ speculations could be spot on this time.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Jenner and Scott “are messing around and having fun together. They’ve always had a strong connection and chemistry and they’re exploring their relationship romantically again.”
The source adds, “They’ve been co-parenting so well together and have a lot of love for each other. Everyone around them can see that.”
