However, they continue to prove people wrong with their thriving relationship. Chalamet and Jenner attended the Golden Globes together in January 2025. However, a source noted that Jenner looked “tense and awkward” at the awards show while with her famous date.

Kylie Jenner is no stranger to the limelight, as she’s made waves for years with her famous family. However, her relationship with Timothée Chalamet is giving her different attention. Jenner and Chalamet don’t flaunt their relationship publicly. Instead, they seem to keep their love life under wraps and only rarely show each other off to the media.
Jenner accompanied Chalamet to the Golden Globes in January 2025. Chalamet was nominated for his role as Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown. While Chalamet lost to Adrien Brody, fans loved seeing the young actor with Jenner. Unfortunately, a source told The U.S. Sun that Jenner looked “tense” while sitting with Chalamet, as she was “routinely skipped over” by celebrities giving their well-wishes to Chalamet.
“Kylie seemed very uncomfortable all night, just so tense and awkward most of the night,” the eyewitness alleged. “You’d see brief moments where she connected with Timothée or bonded with the girls at her table [Elle Fanning and Monica Barbaro].” The witness noted that Jenner appeared to “have a fun time” with Fanning and Barbaro, but the other celebrities approaching the table didn’t seem to know who Jenner was.
“Kylie tried to play off all the interactions, but she seemed embarrassed and way out of her league,” the source added. “Very tense body language and overall this desperation to fit in with the room.” While Chalamet “did his best to include her,” he had his hands full as “the most in-demand guy of the night.”
Timothée Chalamet’s team ‘wants the focus to be on him’ and not Kylie Jenner for ‘A Complete Unknown’
In November 2024, a source told In Touch Weekly that Timothée Chalamet’s team didn’t want Kylie Jenner to attend the premiere of A Complete Unknown.
“Timmy’s team wants the focus to be on him and the transformation he underwent for the role, not Kylie,” the source alleged. Jenner reportedly understood this. “That’s not to say she won’t be able to attend the afterparties with him,” the insider continued.
Jenner attended the afterparty — and the couple didn’t shy away from PDA. Before the afterparty, they were spotted having a date night in New York City in October 2024. “Kylie and Timothée were very cuddly and very cute,” the source told People. “They looked very much in love.”

Timothée Chalamet doesn’t want to publicly address his romance with Kylie Jenner. He dodged a question about Jenner at the 36th Annual Palm Springs International Film Society Film Awards on Jan. 3, 2025.
“You have a lot of supporters in here. I know you brought your partner-in-crime, Kylie, here too. What’s it like to have her supporting you on a night like this?” a reporter from Entertainment Tonight asked.
“It’s a great feeling to be in a room with so much love and so many great peers and people that are fantastic,” Chalamet answered, not specifically mentioning Jenner. “I like seeing the new way and the new generation here. And I also like seeing everyone that’s been holding it down for decades-plus.”
