Kylie Jenner Brings Back a Controversial Hairstyle on Utah Vacation
It’s no secret that Kylie Jenner often changes up her hair. Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve seen the makeup mogul sporting different hair-dos, including blonde and bubblegum pink wigs, light brown tresses, and even honey highlights.
But her latest hairstyle is one that many people aren’t the biggest fans of as it’s caused quite a lot of drama in the past.
Kylie Jenner is vacationing at a five-star resort in the desert with friends
Although she just bought a massive $36.5 million mansion in Holmby Hills, California, Jenner’s already opted for a change of scenery.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder is currently taking in the summer sun at Amangiri, a five-star resort in Canyon Point, Utah.
Jenner brought along her sister, Kendall, and a few of her closest friends to the $5,000 a night resort, complete with minimalist concrete overhangs, rooms with wooden platform beds and floor-to-ceiling windows, as well as stunning natural scenery.
From her Instagram posts, Jenner seems to be having a great time in the desert oasis with friends as she’s posted several photos of herself on the resort grounds.
In one post, Jenner strikes a pose while reclining on a white chaise lounge in a beautiful copper-colored dress and captioned the snapshot, “be back soon.” She’s also shared a photo of herself and BFF Fai Khadra taking in the scenery with the caption, “Beautiful.”

While some people have been fixated on the exclusive vacation spot, most can’t seem to take their eyes off of Jenner’s hair.
In the photos from her little getaway adventure, the makeup mogul’s rocking a braided ponytail that falls past her waist, courtesy of extensions.
Many fans thought Jenner looked gorgeous and complimented her hairstyle in the comments section. “You are a masterpiece!” one person wrote, while another gushed, “Rapunzel vibes!” Even momager Kris Jenner commented on one of her youngest daughter’s desert chic photos with “Wowza.”
Though she’s gotten a lot of praise for her vacation hair-do, this particular style hasn’t always been embraced by fans. In fact, just a few months ago, critics tore Jenner apart for wearing a floor-length braid while on vacation in the Bahamas.

In March 2020, people had a lot to say about Jenner sporting an incredibly long braid while she posed for pictures on a diving board.
The Life With Kylie Star debuted the hairstyle in a series of Instagram posts. While some loved her ultra-long ponytail braid, others thought it looked “like a tail.”
Some even went as far as to call the hair-do “disgusting” and said it resembled something that “comes out of my bathroom drain every six months.”
Jenner’s extra-long braid even caught the attention of sister Khloé Kardashian, who couldn’t resist but troll her sibling by commenting, “Don’t ever call me extra again.”
If there’s anyone who knows how to make a statement with hair, it’s definitely Kylie Jenner.
