Kylie Jenner Could’ve Had a Role on ‘Pretty Little Liars’, Did the Cast Want Her on the Show?
Though Pretty Little Liars has been off the air for years, new audiences are discovering the popular teen drama every day thanks to streaming services. In fact, only three years after the series finale, the show has been given a reboot by HBO Max. None of the original cast is currently set to return, but some fans are still expressing excitement over a new rendition of their favorite show. Pretty Little Liars racked up millions of fans throughout its seven-year run. But one of the most famous fans of the show is Kylie Jenner.
Jenner has never been shy about how much she adored Pretty Little Liars. The Kylie Cosmetics co-owner would often tweet her excitement about the show. KarJenner superfans may even recall that Jenner could’ve joined the cast of the hit drama as a guest star. Back in 2015, Seventeen reported that during an episode of Keeping Up with Kardashians, Jenner’s mom and manager, Kris Jenner, shared that there was a potential opportunity for Kylie to join the cast of Pretty Little Liar.

But if Kylie was a fan of the show why didn’t she ever appear in any of the episodes? According to Seventeen, Kris informed Kylie about the opportunity while they were in the car. However, Kylie was in a fight with her mother at the time and she had absolutely no interest in discussing work with her, even if that meant squashing her chances of ever appearing on Pretty Little Liars.
Though Pretty Little Liars producers never corroborated Kris’s claim that Kylie had an opportunity to appear on the show, that didn’t stop the news from spreading like wildfire. Eventually, even the cast of the beloved show was being asked about Kylie joining the show for a guest star role. Back in 2016, Clevver News had the opportunity to interview some of the cast members. The news outlet informed the stars that Kylie was a huge fan of the show and asked what they thought about Kylie joining the show for an episode or two.

“I love Kylie, she’s so sweet,” Lucy Hale, who famously played Aria Montgomery on Pretty Little Liars shared. “Yeah, I feel like she could be like my like long-lost cousin or something. That would be so fun, I’m so down. Kylie, be on our show,” Hale shared, clearly on board with Kylie making a brief appearance.
Troian Bellisario, on the other hand, wasn’t as familiar with Kylie as her Pretty Little Liars co-star, Hale. The actor, who primarily played Spencer Hastings on the show, admitted that she wasn’t familiar with Kylie, but she was grateful to have fans who enjoyed the show.

“Yeah, I wouldn’t even know what Kylie Jenner looked like to be honest,” Bellisario said candidly. “Like great, I’m so glad that she’s a fan of the show. But like there are great fans of the show that I would love to have on and it would be a blast. I’m – I don’t know.”
It seems that the Pretty Little Liars casr wouldn’t have minded a Kylie cameo. But, clearly, Kylie didn’t miss her calling and found success with other ventures.
