Kylie Jenner Fans Can’t Figure Out Why She Keeps a $200,000 Wax Figure of Her Mom

In early August 2020, Kylie Jenner turned 23 years old. In her short 23 years, Kylie Jenner has already achieved what it takes many a lifetime to.

Jenner has already become a successful businesswoman, built an empire through her cosmetic company, and became a mother in under 23 years. While Kylie is definitely one of the most financially successful of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters, fans of the family also contend that she is one of the quirkiest as well. Fans just can’t seem to understand Kylie’s personality, sense of humor, or decision-making process, like the fact that she has a full-size wax figure of her mom in her home.

The baby of the Kardashian-Jenner Clan 

Born on August 10, 1997, Kylie Jenner is the youngest sibling of the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan. In total, Kylie has nine older siblings. Kylie, along with her sister, Kendall, are the only two biological children of both Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner. Through Kris Jenner, Kylie has the four famous Kardashian siblings, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob.

Through Caitlyn Jenner, Kylie has four more siblings, Burt, Casey, Brandon, and Brody. All in all, Kylie is not lacking in the sibling department. 

Growing up as the youngest of 10 children and being thrust in front of a camera at an early age, Kylie definitely had a unique upbringing. Kylie was just 10-years-old when her famous family started starring in their family reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Longtime fans of the show will remember Kylie as a wild, quirky, and clever kid. Growing up in the spotlight wasn’t always easy for Kylie, but the struggle has definitely paid off financially for Kylie and the entire family. 

Becoming Kris Jenner’s new favorite daughter 

Mothers aren’t supposed to have favorites, but that’s never stopped Kris Jenner. Kylie’s oldest three Kardashian sisters publicly discussed how Kim was Kris’s favorite daughter throughout the early 2000s. While Kim dominated the sibling pecking order for most of the last two decades, Kylie has managed to squeak into Kris’s number one position over the last five years. 

The Kardashian-Jenner sisters love to poke fun at their mom and discuss who her favorite daughter really is. While most of these discussions are all in good fun, there is some truth behind it as well. Kris is a great momager. However, she’s not great at giving all of her kids the same amount of attention or praise. So while Kris has been busy putting Kylie up on a pedestal the last few years, Kylie has been busy putting Kris in wax, so to speak. 

Kylie’s quirky personality 

While Kylie and her sisters like to seem put together at all times, they all have their slip-ups where they reveal they are still human. Kylie’s no different, and when she has her guard down, she often reveals her quirky sense of humor and personality.

While some fans adore Kylie’s quirks, other fans are disturbed by one of her latest decisions. Kylie recently revealed that she has a life-size wax statue of her mother in her California mansion. While the cost of Kylie’s specific statue is unknown, these wax figures generally cost around $200,000, according to Page Six. 

Fans took to Reddit to discuss Kylie’s decision to house a life-size wax figure of her mother in her home. Feelings about the situation were generally split between fans.

While some found nothing wrong with it, others contended it was the weirdest thing ever. In regard to Kylie having this wax figure, one fan wrote, “Literally made me think of Norman Bates. Creepy doesn’t even begin to describe it.”

While another fan seemed to be on the opposite end of the spectrum, writing, “This sounds like peek Tumblr Kylie to me, and I am here for all that weirdness. When she was more open, it was very apparent how quirky her personality is, and this is really reminiscent of that era.”

Regardless of what fans think, if Kylie’s willing to pay over $200,000 to have a life-size wax statue of her mom or fight her sisters over it, more power to her.
