Kylie Jenner Hates 2020 and Fans Are Dragging Her For Saying So
It’s no secret that 2020 has started off rocky especially in the celeb world. In late January, Kobe Bryant and several other people, including his daughter, Gianna, were killed in a helicopter crash. Earlier this week, up-and-coming Brooklyn rapper Pop Smoke, was killed during a home invasion. With so much going on the world, it can certainly be challenging to remain positive.
In fact, Kylie Jenner who seemingly has the world at her fingertips just expressed her anguish over this already rocky year. Typically — the Kylie Beauty mogul stays very positive on her social media pages. She often showcases her adorable 2-year-old daughter, Stormi Webster, her latest cosmetic releases, and her lavish lifestyle.
However, in expressing her sadness over the events of 2020–KarJenner fans began to drag the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star.
Kylie Jenner often shows off her massive net worth
From her insane luxury car collection to her handbag room to her lush and lavish lifestyle — Jenner doesn’t try to tone down her immense wealth at all. Though she isn’t quite a “self-made” billionaire since KUWTK and her family’s name give her a leg up — she’s certainly worked hard to build Kylie Beauty. She is now the youngest billionaire in the world. Jenner told Interview Germany,
I am a special case because before I started Kylie Cosmetics, I had a huge platform and lots of fans. I did not get money from my parents past the age of 15. I used 100 percent of my own money to start the company, not a dime in my bank account is inherited… and I am very proud of that.
Now, with the sale of Kylie Cosmetics to Coty — Jenner has added to her net worth. Today, the beauty empire is worth $1.2 billion.
Kylie Jenner tweeted her anguish over 2020
We aren’t even a fourth of the way through the year and 2020 is already throwing us a lot of curveballs. Shortly before expressing her dispair about the year — Jenner tweeted, “Rest in peace Pop Smoke.” The makeup mogul followed that tweet up with another that said, “had enough of 2020.”
Since Stormi’s mom did not thread the tweets together, many fans saw them out of context and it appeared that Jenner was just complaining.
Fans dragged Kylie Jenner on Twitter
People aren’t here for very rich and famous people complaining on the internet — even though they are just as human as we are. After Jenner tweeted that she’d “had enough of 2020” fans couldn’t wait to rip her apart.
One Twitter user suggested, “So buy another year, what’s the problem,” Another added, “Yeah? Being a billionaire has been rough for the past few weeks? Having enough money to solve any problem and have no worries is tough this year?” Yet, another person said, “You’re right, let’s trade bank accounts.” Other people have been suggesting that Jenner is giving Marie Antoinette vibes and they’ve been flooding her timeline with photos of guillotines.
However, some people now being labeled, “billionaire-defenders” are sticking up for Jenner. As one person tweeted, “Just because Kylie has money doesn’t mean she can’t have a bad day, month or year. She is human just like all of us.”
