Here’s Everything We Know About Kylie Jenner’s Possible Kylie Con Event
Kylie Jenner may have sold the majority share of her company Kylie Cosmetics — transforming it into Kylie Beauty under the Coty empire, but that hasn’t stopped her reign. Many fans were concerned that the makeup mogul might be more hands-off now that Coty owns 51% of her company. However, from the looks of Jenner’s latest moves, that couldn’t be more off-base.
Back in November 2019 when Jenner sold the majority stake in her brand for a whopping $600 million, she released a statement saying,
I’m excited to partner with Coty to continue to reach even more fans of Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin around the world. I look forward to continuing the creativity and ingenuity for each collection that consumers have come to expect and engaging with my fans across social media. This partnership will allow me and my team to stay focused on the creation and development of each product while building the brand into an international beauty powerhouse.
It looks like that international beauty powerhouse is well underway.
Kylie Jenner is still very hands-on with Kylie Beauty
Though she sold a massive stake in her company, it has only allowed the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star to be even more creative and hands-on.
“Kylie did not sell the majority of her company because she wants to step back, but rather because she sees this as an incredible opportunity to help grow her cosmetics and skin line even further than before,” an insider told Hollywood Life. “She is going to remain just as hands-on with the line, but she decided to team up with Coty in order to continue growing her empire. Kylie is super excited about this next phase of her brand, and she looks forward to seeing where it goes next.”
Kylie Jenner has just trademarked “Kylie Con” and “Kylie Museum”
It looks like Stormi’s mom already has something up her sleeve for 2020. Last week, Jenner filed trademarks for “Kylie Con,” “Kylie Kon” and “Kylie Museum.”
E! News is reporting that the makeup mogul is looking to “use them on clothing and accessories for adults and children, as well as for beauty-related consultation services, classes, workshops, exhibitions and interactive experiences for social entertainment purposes.”
It looks like Jenner is about to come for BeautyCon’s neck.
Here’s what Kylie Con could look like
Since 2013, BeautyCon has been a premiere event for beauty gurus, influencers and brands across the industry. It looks like Jenner is ready to do her own major event surrounding her Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin products.
The event will more than likely consist of keynote addresses by Jenner and other major celebs and powerhouses. It will also probably include spa treatments, performances, free goodies, meet and greets, parties, panels, makeup classes and tons and tons of stunning backgrounds for social media.
We wonder if Jenner will ask her sister Kim Kardashian to partner with her on the event for a Kylie Con featuring KKW Beauty. Either way, it’s clear that the beauty mogul and her momager, Kris Jenner know how to keep bringing in the coins.
