Kylie Jenner has become one of the world’s most famous women over a few short years. Though she was born into a well-known family and grew up in the spotlight, she’s come into her own recently with her massive makeup and skincare brands.
Fans have noticed, though, that Jenner’s appearance has changed a lot since she became an adult. And one comparison has her looking so much like her older sister, Kim Kardashian West — did she alter her face for that reason?

When Jenner was only 17, she used Botox for the first time — and it changed her forever. Jenner had always been self-conscious of her lips and wanted to make a change. Jenner’s mom, Kris Jenner, recalled how she didn’t want her daughter to alter her face, though she eventually came around.
Since Jenner’s had her lips done, she’s had a lot more done, too. Though Jenner remains adamant that she’s never had plastic surgery, she had admitted to having fillers in her face. There’s also been a lot of speculation that she’s had fillers in her rear end, too.
Fans have already accused her of ‘trying to be like Kim’
Jenner has branched out from her family to become her own person, and she’s done so in a short amount of time. But she once posted a photo showing off her butt in a tight outfit, and fans immediately accused her of trying to become her sister, Kim Kardashian West. Kardashian West, who is well known for her hourglass figure, has always been a role model for Jenner. But it might have gotten to the point where fans are convinced Jenner wants to become her rather than emulate her.
A side-by-side comparison shows that Jenner looks a lot like Kardashian West
One meme account decided to take an old photo of Jenner and a new photo of Kardashian West and pair each with one half of Jenner’s face. Upon comparing, though, it looks like Jenner looks more like present day Kardashian West than she does the old version of herself. The meme account, celebrityplastics, made the comparison, and in the comments, fans agreed.
“Kylie [definitely] went to Kim’s plastic surgeon,” one user wrote. “It’s because they have the same mama and doctor,” someone else commented. Another user blamed the resemblance on the makeup, though, and said Jenner has paler skin and more freckles in real life.
It’s possible Jenner wanted to look more like her sister
Though it’s unclear if Jenner is actually trying to look like Kardashian West, it’s no secret that Kardashian West is known for her beauty. And as her younger sister, Jenner might simply have wanted to look like her because most younger sisters do. Whether it was intentional or not, their makeup does make them look surprisingly similar.
Jenner actually did Kardashian West’s makeup in a video once, and it’s clear that Jenner is the one with more makeup skill. Still, she might have learned of her passion for makeup from watching her sisters growing up.
