Kylie might be more protective of her relationship with Chalamet than her other past romances, as she reportedly refused to mention him in the new season of The Kardashians. Here’s what’s going on.

Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet prefer to keep the ins and outs of their romance private. While they’ve attended awards ceremonies together and seemingly take their relationship seriously, they haven’t publicly discussed their future.
Fans hoping to hear more about Chalamet in The Kardashians Season 6 might have to keep dreaming. An insider told The U.S. Sun that Kylie refused to discuss Chalamet in the new season. Instead, she focuses on her Kylie Cosmetics brand and professional endeavors.
Unfortunately for the Kardashian-Jenner family, this might not satisfy viewers. “It’s tough because they think their work is super interesting, but audiences don’t want to hear about it,” the insider alleged.
The source added that Kris Jenner hoped to beef up viewership this season by bringing Khloé Kardashian’s ex, Lamar Odom, on the show. Khloé used to be a fan favorite among viewers, but she no longer brings serious drama to the series.
“Now the other sisters have less time to film, and in the absence of any love life or drama with Khloé, Kris is resorting to bringing back Lamar and making that the big storyline,” the source alleged. “If it doesn’t secure another season, it’s hoped it’ll boost her podcast.”
A previous source alleged that Kylie Jenner wanted Timothée Chalamet on ‘The Kardashians’
Given what recent sources explained, Timothée Chalamet likely won’t make any cameos on The Kardashians. However, another insider told Life & Style in August 2024 that Kylie Jenner hoped Chalamet might be open to making on-screen appearances.
“It’s taken a lot of effort on Kylie’s part to get Timothée to a point where he’s even willing to discuss going on camera,” the insider alleged. “He’s tentatively committed to doing a couple of segments and seeing where it goes.”
The insider said even a small appearance by Chalamet would do wonders for ratings and please Kris Jenner. “It’s still a huge coup, and obviously Kris is thrilled and praising Kylie to the high heavens,” the source continued.
However, Kim and Khloé Kardashian allegedly didn’t love the idea of the show focusing on Chalamet. “They’re annoyed that he’s just waltzing in trying to take a piece of the pie after acting so stuck up and above them all,” the source added.
The ‘Dune’ actor allegedly doesn’t want his romance to overshadow his acting
While Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner look happy together, the Dune actor allegedly doesn’t want his relationship to overshadow his professional work. In October 2024, an insider told In Touch Weekly that Chalamet and Kylie were keeping their romance “on the down low” because Chalamet “has too many important movies in the works” and “doesn’t want his relationship with Kylie, who makes headlines by just stepping outside, to overshadow his career.”
Kylie is allegedly fine with Chalamet’s preference. However, her family doesn’t feel the same. “Her sister, Kim [Kardashian], and her mom, Kris [Jenner], think she’s wasting a great opportunity and should basically exploit the romance,” the source explains. “Clearly, Kylie isn’t taking their advice.”
