Kylie Jenner Said She Can’t Show Her True Personality for This Heartbreaking Reason: ‘It Makes Me Sad’
Kylie Jenner said she felt like she had to dial back her personality as she became more famous and fans never really get to see the true her. In a video with pal James Charles, the two chatted about why Jenner puts on a different personality when she’s on social media.
Kylie Jenner talked about her Halloween plans
During the video, Charles did Jenner’s Halloween makeup to make her look like she had been clawed in the face. The two chatted about the upcoming holiday and what Jenner had planned.
Jenner explained how excited her daughter Stormi is about Halloween, but their plans are a bit different due to coronavirus (COVID-19). She revealed that Kim Kardashian West would make some fun at her place with fake houses set up that the cousins could trick-or-treat.
Jenner was mum about her Halloween costume plans but did say that Stormi is planning to be a Minion. As for her favorite costume from past years, the beauty mogul said it would have to be when she dressed as Barbie.
Kylie Jenner shared the sad reason she hides her personality
During the video, Charles pointed to the clip from KUWTK where Kylie was “so fun,” singing about getting wasted. “Your personality is so fun,” Charles told her. “Every time you walk into the room, it’s instant laughs. You’re always cracking jokes. You’re so nice to everybody.”
He added, “From being online, a lot of people don’t know how cool you actually are.”
According to Jenner, she said that when she started to get more famous she decided to keep her real personality under wraps.
“I think that I showed my true personality for so long ago on Vine and Instagram,” she explained. “As I got bigger and bigger, I just realized … when people used to say mean things about how I really am and my personality and what I love the most about myself, it would hurt me more than almost playing a character. Like not showing people everything.”
She continued, “So I just started doing a little less, which is sad. It makes me sad.”
As for James saying she’s “fun” and cool,” Jenner explained, “that’s a bigger compliment to me than if you already knew … I don’t know, it’s something that is sacred.”
“But I want to start doing more things,” she added, sharing how she was looking for inspo on James’ YouTube page and she wants to try to do more TikTok videos.
Kylie Jenner said she wants to have more kids
Jenner gushed over daughter Stormi during their chat, saying, “She’s so smart beyond her years” and shared her plans for having more kids.
“I’m excited for her to grow up but I’m really sad at the same time,” Jenner said. “I want more so bad. I actually think about it every day.”
Even though she’s thinking about it, it doesn’t mean Jenner has a baby timeline. “I just still don’t know when. I’m not planning, I don’t have a time for that to happen,” she said. “You can’t not want more almost.”
Even though she loves being a mom to Stormi, Jenner did reveal that “being a parent is stressful” because you have “to do the right thing at all times.”
