Kylie Jenner Fans React to Stormi Refusing to Call Her Mommy
Kylie Jenner wears a lot of hats these days. She is the mother of her two-year-old daughter, Stormi, founder of her highly successful brands, Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin, and she is one of the stars of the hit reality TV show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. But, despite all the things that Jenner has going on, the 22-year-old has been clear that her priorities lie with Stormi. Jenner’s fans were surprised when she became pregnant with her daughter back in 2018. As she was only 19 at the time, and had only been with her ex-boyfriend, Travis Scott, for a few months, fans were shocked, to say the least.

But, despite how surprising Jenner’s pregnancy was, she maintains that being a mom brings her a lot of joy. Furthermore, it appears that she has Stormi’s best interests at heart, often prioritizing her daughter’s needs over her own wants and needs. This was evident when she disappeared from the public eye for several months to properly adjust to being a mother while she was pregnant. Two years later and Jenner still seems to be enamored with her daughter. “And just like that she’s two ⚡️⚡️ happy birthday to my Stormi. February 1st 4:43pm the moment my life changed forever. We were meant for each other stormiloo,” Jenner recently wrote in celebration of her daughter’s 2nd birthday.

As Jenner’s daughter just turned two, her personality is coming in full throttle. Two-year-old Stormi takes after her mother with her love of makeup, but is completely different in other ways. For example, she hates taking pictures and will sometimes demand that her mother stop taking pictures. Jenner’s family and friends maintain that she is a very sweet and happy toddler. Jenner, on the other hand, has shared that Stormi is “such a Stomi” and has many different facets of her personality. A good example of this comes from a video that Jenner shared where she’s trying to get her daughter’s attention. After calling her multiple times, Stormi finally turns around. “Hi baby!” Jenner exclaims. In a hilarious turn of events, Stormi rolls her eyes and turns back around.

But, that wasn’t the only funny video of Jenner’s daughter that fans enjoy. Recently, Jenner shared yet another video of Stormi. “Hi Kylie,” Stormi declares happily in said video. “That’s not my name, my name’s Mommy,” Jenner responds. “Hi Kylie!” Stormi says again louder, ignoring her mother. “Noooo,” Jenner declares and they continue going back and forth. Jenner’s fans were absolutely tickled by the video. They couldn’t help but comment on how cute Stormi’s voice was and how adorable she is.

Other fans felt they could relate. They maintained that many toddlers go through a phase where they refuse to call their parents anything other than their actual name. “Honestly, though a lot of little kids to do this 😂😂. As soon as they know your name they won’t stop saying it lol,” one person commented. “Omg, I know the feeling. When they learn ur name… 😂😂😂” another fan wrote.
Other people didn’t find the video as funny. They shared that Jenner should stop her daughter from using her name before it turned into a sign of disrespect. “You better nip this in the bud now, Kylie Jenner before it gets out of control,” one person wrote. Despite all the varying (sometimes ridiculous) opinions about the video, it’s up to Jenner to decide what behavior is acceptable for her daughter. After all, she’s the one who has to parent her.
