Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott pulled the plug on their two-year relationship in October 2019. The breakup seemingly came out of nowhere. A couple of months prior, the duo celebrated Jenner’s 22nd birthday on a whirlwind yacht vacation in Italy.
Just one month before their split, they celebrated the release of the rapper’s Netflix documentary, Look Mom, I Can Fly. The duo also share a daughter, Stormi, and had appeared to be getting along well. Therefore, fans were stunned when they went their separate ways.

There was a ton of speculation surrounding Jenner and Scott’s breakup. At the time, rumors swirled that they had different priorities. While the makeup mogul was focused on settling down and possibly having more children, the rapper wanted to enjoy his success which meant constant traveling and performing.
Additionally, there was also some concern that the spark between the pair faded. The pair met in April 2017 and welcomed Stormi by February 2018; it appeared that the spark simply did not hold out. However, the Utopia rapper got candid about the demise of his relationship with the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star.
He told XXL, “The hard part about relationships is just trying to be in one without a million outside voices interfering.”

However, something may have shifted between the pair recently. In early May 2021, Jenner flew across the country from LA to Miami to celebrate Scott’s 29th birthday with him in LIV nightclub.
Since we are still very much in a pandemic, the gesture seemed more than over the top. The pair appeared to be more than just a little friendly. Jenner shared some flirty moments with her father’s daughter on Instagram, and various gossip blogs posted clips of the pair dancing and embracing each other.
At the end of the weekend, both Jenner and Scott boarded her private jet together and returned home to LA.

Though things appeared super intense and romantic between the pair, it doesn’t look like Scott and Jenner’s relationship status has changed. For now, it appears that they are just good friends and co-parents.
“We have such a great relationship,” Jenner told Harper’s Bazaar in March 2020.“We’re like best friends. We both love Stormi and want what’s best for her. We stay connected and coordinated. I think about [my parents] in situations with Stormi, what they would do. They were very hands-on with me, and I want the same for Stormi.”
