Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are one celebrity pairing whose relationship status remains unclear. Over the past year, the two have sparked reconciliation rumors on numerous occasions, with insiders often chiming in to say they are or are not back together.

While many of us were beginning to think that we might not ever know what’s really going on between Jenner and Scott, media outlets recently gave an update on the pair’s relationship, which according to insiders, hasn’t changed at all in recent months.

Jenner and Travis have been spending a lot of quality time together lately, and their most recent trip proves just how much they enjoy being in each other’s company.

The pair spent Memorial Day weekend enjoying family time with their 3-year-old daughter, Stormi Webster, in the rapper’s native Houston.

During their stay, the duo had a late-night playground date, which was documented on the Keeping Up With the Kardashian star’s Instagram Stories. They also had a friendly water balloon fight with Stormi.

In videos posted to the makeup mogul’s Instagram, Stormi and Scott teamed up to take on Jenner, who runs away from the balloons while filming the playful fight.

At one point, the rapper successfully hits Jenner with a water balloon after Stormi adorably tries her best to soak her mom.

Kylie and Travis reportedly rekindled their relationship

Jenner and Scott’s fun-filled Memorial Day weekend comes a few days after insiders reported that the two were giving their relationship another try.

Those who’ve been following the pair’s relationship closely know that Jenner and Scott have been sparking romance rumors on and off since calling it quits in October 2019. Though it was initially reported that the pair planned to remain friends and dedicated co-parents to Stormi, rumors recently spread that the former couple was back together following the “Sicko Mode” rapper’s birthday celebration in Miami.

At the time, Entertainment Tonight reported that Jenner and Scott were “exploring their relationship romantically again.”

“Kylie and Travis are messing around and having fun together,” a source told the outlet. “They’ve always had a strong connection and chemistry.”

It was later reported that the former flames were in an “open relationship.” However, the Kylie Cosmetics founder quickly shut down this rumor on Twitter.

“You guys really just make up anything,” she tweeted along with a screenshot of the Daily Mail article reporting on her and Scott’s relationship.

Jenner then posted another tweet that read, “I’m not discrediting anyone who is in an open relationship, but it’s just careless and disrespectful to throw this narrative out there without knowing what’s true.”

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott aren’t ‘putting any pressure on their relationship’

Although Jenner and Scott aren’t in an open relationship, insiders report that the pair have a lot of love for each other and are “very happy” with the relationship they currently have.

“Kylie and Travis continue to spend a lot of quality family time together,” a source tells People. “They are not putting any pressure on their relationship. They get along and things are great. They both want to be as present as possible for Stormi. Kylie and Travis have worked hard to create a great family situation.”

Meanwhile, a separate source tells HollywoodLife that though the celebrities have incredible chemistry, their relationship hasn’t evolved into anything serious — and likely won’t anytime soon.

“Kylie and Travis’ relationship hasn’t changed at all. They spend a lot of time together and they don’t post about it,” an insider explained. “They are a united family and talk all of the time and have chemistry and admiration for each other.”

The source continued, “Kylie knows a relationship with Travis won’t work with his busy schedule and music lifestyle… She’s not looking to be with anyone else or date, but he can’t give her what she needs right now. Maybe in the future that will change, but for now they’re happy with the way their relationship functions. It may be unconventional, but they don’t care. It works for them.”
