Kylie Jenner Fans Thought Her Vogue Cover With Stormi Was Fake
2020 might be the year of a pandemic, but that’s hardly stopping Kylie Jenner from living her life. The world has been obsessed with the youngest KarJenner for many years now, and she’s hardly letting the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic stop her from putting out content. While Jenner has been staying home more in the past few months, her new multimillion-dollar mansion provides the perfect backdrop for endless photoshoots. In fact, Jenner recently did a Vogue photoshoot with her daughter in the comfort of her own home.
Though Jenner has broken the California mandate to stay at home many times (most recently to celebrate her best friend, Anastasia Karanikolaou’s 23rd birthday) she has been trying to keep up the illusion that she’s staying in her home. Recently, the Kylie Cosmetics owner took to her Instagram page to announce that she and her daughter were on the latest cover for Vogue Czechoslovakia.
Kylie Jenner unveils new Vogue Czechoslovakia cover on Instagram
The latest issue of Vogue Czechoslovakia, called Bedtime Stories, features Jenner and her two-year-old daughter on half of them. The reality star and Stormi represent successful princesses while the other half of the magazines feature model, Eva Herzigova who represents the evil Queen. Because of social distancing, Jenner and her daughter were interviewed and photographer via zoom in the comfort of their own home.
“#OnceUponATime, Princess #KylieJenner was born into the most-watched family in the world. She has become the most powerful #Influencer on the planet, Stormi’s mother, a #BeautyMogul, and it seems that everything she wishes for comes true. While Kylie and Stormi were quarantined at their home in Los Angeles, @morellibrothers photographed them exclusively for #VogueCS via Zoom call. Whether you prefer #FairyTales about successful princesses or evil queens, keep telling them. If we believe that the world can be a better place, it will become one,” Vogue Czechoslovakia captioned the photo of the mother and daughter.
The ‘KUWTK’ star pens a love note about her daughter, Stormi
Naturally, Jenner also shared the photos on her own Instagram feed. Fans were particularly enamored by the message she penned about Stormi. ” I love this little baby so much I want to burst.. sometimes I just look at her and cry knowing she will never be this small ever again. Who knew something so little could take up most of your heart 🤍 God made no mistakes with you storm baby ⛈ behind the scenes shooting @vogueczechoslovakia,” Jenner wrote about her daughter.
But, while Jenner’s fans thoroughly enjoyed the picture of the young multimillionaire and her daughter, many of them assumed that her Vogue cover was fake. As there is currently a Vogue Challenge going around the Internet, many people believed that Jenner was taking part in that. For clarity, the Vogue Challenge was created by Black creators who have been underrepresented and overlooked in mainstream media. The challenge was then co-opted by other people, influencers, and even some celebrities.
Jenner fans believed the magazine cover was fake
“Oh this is real? I thought one of Kylie’s stans made this for the #voguechallenge,” one person wrote in Jenner’s captions after she revealed her Vogue cover. “So this isn’t the #VogueChallenge?! This is legit? 😂 Yasssss! 👏’ another person chimed in. Given the orientation of the picture and the timing, we can certainly see why people would think Jenner’s Vogue cover was fake. But, there’s no need to fake being on a magazine cover when you’ve been afforded the privilege many times.
