‘La Brea’: Who’s in the Cast?
La Brea premieres Tuesday, Sept. 28, on NBC. The network describes the show about a sinkhole opening up in Los Angeles as an “epic adventure.”
According to the official series description, a family is separated, and everyone is trying to figure out how things went wrong. “Meanwhile, the rest of the world desperately seeks to understand what happened. In the search for answers, one family torn apart by this disaster will have to unlock the secrets of this inexplicable event to find a way back to each other.”
Here’s a look at who is in the La Brea cast.
Nicholas Gonzalez
Nicholas Gonzalez plays Levi Brooks. One of Gonzalez’s early roles was in a 1998 episode of the television series Dharma & Greg. The following year, he landed a recurring role in Undressed, in which he played Andy for six episodes.
Gonzalez is best known for playing Dr. Neil Melendez in The Good Doctor, Orlando Lagos in Being Mary Jane, Dominick Flores in How to Get Away with Murder, and Detective Marco Furey in Pretty Little Liars.
Natalie Zea
Natalie Zea plays series lead Eve Harris. One of Zea’s early acting roles was in the 1999 film Macbeth in Manhattan. In 2000, she joined the cast of Passions. She played Gwen Hotchkiss for 215 episodes from 2000 to 2002. Zea is known for playing Shannon in The Unicorn, Robin Parker in The Detour, Winona Hawkins in Justified, and Karen Darling in Dirty Sexy Money.
Jon Seda
Jon Seda plays Dr. Sam Velez. One of Seda’s early roles was in the 1992 film Gladiator, starring Cuba Gooding Jr. and James Marshall. Seda’s most well-known roles include Antonio Dawson in Chicago P.D. and Chicago Justice, Nelson Hidalgo in Treme, and Paul Falsone in Homicide: Life on the Street.
Ione Skye
Ione Skye plays Jessica Harris. One of Skye’s early acting roles was in the 1986 film River’s Edge, starring Keanu Reeves and Crispin Glover. In 1992, Skye joined the cast of Covington Cross. She played Eleanor Gray for 13 episodes. Viewers may also recognize Skye for playing Gayle Meyer in Good Girls, Carleen in Camping, Trudi in Gas Food Lodging, Elyse in Wayne’s World, and Diane Court in Say Anything.
Chiké Okonkwo
Chiké Okonkwo plays Ty Coleman. One of Okonkwo’s early roles was in the 2001 film Tabloid. In 2003, he had a recurring role as PC Clark in the series New Tricks. Okonkwo’s other credits include playing Lee Truitt in Being Mary Jane and D.C. Callum Gada in Paradox.
Zyra Gorecki
Zyra Gorecki plays Izzy Harris. She made her acting debut in 2016 when she appeared in a Chicago Fire episode titled “One Hundred.”
Chloe De Los Santos
Chloe De Los Santos plays Lilly Castillo. One of her early roles was in the television series Tidelands. She played Bijou for six episodes in 2018. Audiences also know De Los Santos for playing Owen in The Mother Lode and Young Jade in Jade of Death.
Other actors in La Brea include Veronica St. Clair, Karina Logue, Eoin Mackin, Rohan Mirchandaney, Lily Santiago, and Josh McKenzie.
