Before she was a Grammy Award-winning pop and jazz musician, Lady Gaga attended New York University, known for its prestigious Tisch School of the Arts. She was only 17 years old at the time of her admittance.
What was Lady Gaga’s major at New York University?
Britannica reports that this artist studied music at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. To be more specific, Lady Gaga was granted early admission to the Collaborative Arts Project 21, a music school at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Months following A Star is Born’s release, Lady Gaga teamed up with Ridley Scott for the fashion-forward film House of Gucci. She appeared alongside Adam Driver, Salma Hayek, Al Pacino, and others. The actor even shared that she stayed in character in between scenes.
“I only felt that I could truly do this story justice if I approached it with the eye of a curious woman who was interested in possessing a journalistic spirit so that I could read between the lines of what was happening in the film’s scenes,” Gaga said during an interview with British Vogue. “[N]obody was going to tell me who Patrizia Gucci was. Not even Patrizia Gucci.”
